Summer 2025 transfer rumours

I like Richards but Championship? Im a bit shocked by that. Could be some agent mischief to get a better deal?

 

I'd have triggered Kelly and Richards anyway. Both have had a few years of injury concerns and both haven't been starting in a while. Triggered the season, if they are good then sort out a deal by crimbo. If they aren't up to snuff you can cut ties and it's not a long term commitment.

 

Dunno if Lower Tiers are trustworthy? But they are reporting a similar rumour. Worth noting Nixon has said he has a Sunday story on us, wonder if it's the same?

 

He's only 23 and would be a good option for a lower end Championship side as a back up with the view to developing over the next year or 2. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Preston came in for him. If he adds more consistency with his crossing I think he has the potential to become a Championship starter as he gets into a lot of good crossing positions but the end product lets him down too often.

If a footballer prefers to go elsewhere then good luck to them. We know their worth to us in L1 and what our alternatives are. No player is bigger than our club !

 

I personally dont think he did enough at L2 level last season to warrant Championship interest. Missed half the season through injury and had a decent spell over around 3 months. Before that he did absolutely nothing to even earn a new deal with us.

Treating this one with caution, could be wrong...

 

championship - thats ridiculous imo. Decent enough in L2 but not even sure he is L1 standard. At times he looked clumsy and slow on the ball earlier in the season.

Heard on the grapevine today there's a deal being discussed for Jack Shepherd to come back.

 

Richards is decent but I would prefer Tayo back as long as their is a good left side central defender next to him

What a season for young Adaramola eh....promotion with City and his team winning the FA Cup. They are going to need a bigger squad to compete on all 4 fronts next term. He might get an opportunity there now if they draw TNS or Dundalk in the Europa.
