I remember Spurs had left back Benoit Assou-Ekotto a few years ago and apparently he was pretty open about not being a football fan, just he happened to be very good player. I believe many footballers probably don't watch football but its hard to miss anything big these days as its plastered all over social media in short clips

Just going through some of the early retained lists, Jordan Rhodes has been released, anyone think we'll try again 6 months later? Jordan Gabriel released by Blackpool too, he was linked to us at one point by one of those twitter transfer pages, cant remember if it was about this time last year or the season before. He's a right back.

Chieck Diabate released too, bring him home!!!!

I can see why we asked in late Jan. Cook was out for the season, Kav had no form and we didn't know what Leigh or Mellon could offer. I dont think i'd try again for him.

Well they are absolutely shite and will end up in L2 before long. Town fan I know likes Pearson and didnt want him to go. If rumours are true its a yes from me. Upgrade on what we have and a really good pedigree with lots of experience.

The Premier League have a window opening 1st - 10th June to allow clubs in the Club World Cup to sign players then the main window opening 16th June, the EFL haven't announced the window yet but it's usually mid June so could either join the Premier League on 16th June or be slightly earlier

 

Thinking about it, signing competition for Richie will prove difficult.

Captain, player of the year, L2 team of the season.... you're not gonna get any game time realistically.

But we do need someone through the door.
