Sounds like Shepherd will be monitored as the week goes on with his groin issue. If fit, him and Smallwood walk back into the side for me at the weekend.

I think we will demolish Fleetwood, Liverpool style and Walsall will draw.

I doubt it. Groins take ages to heal.

We all need to relax and enjoy the fact that come Saturday, we have the chance to gain promotion at Valley parade on the last day of the season in front of a sold out home support
Promotion is few and far between for us bantams and very rarely achieved at home
1982 the last time we were in this position 43 years ago
Live it fellow city fans enjoy the week, it might be a long time until we are in this position again

GA in the T&A today said its a groin issue they have been nursing for months, but it flared up again in training last week. I cant imagine Barnsley will be overly happy if we push him to play and it gets even worse and it then causes issue for them next season? But an ongoing issue like that might end up needing further work in the summer I'm guessing?

Won 3-2 with a 98th minute Kavanagh penalty to seal promotion. If that happens on the day I think I’ll have a heart attack.

Is Saturday's game on the TV? Are any games on TV or are all games on this Saturday? Seeing as we have had to jump through hoops for Sky all season surely they will be televising something this weekend from League 1 & 2.

I don't believe so, I couldn't see any games listed for TV broadcast on the usual apps

Sky have yet to announce which games will be shown live. My guess Notts vs Donny will as Donny could lift the title or if Notts win and we lose and Walsall again don't win, they could even go up. Us and L1 kick off all at 3pm, so guess they'll pick one from either?

Grimsby v Wimbledon might be an intriguing watch for the neutral.

I thought all of the final day EFL games are available on the red button as part of the new deal? May be wrong but i'm sure I read that the first & last games are all live

You are correct. From the EFL website:

So it's just a case of where they want to rock up to. With league 1 promotion settled and relegation all put settled if Burton avoid defeat mid week they could show the last play off spot in league 1. Leyton Orient and Reading are battling that spot.

I'm not confident at all. Think we're destined for the playoffs.

Come on. We are the best home team in the league, or certainly up there. Captain is back, Pattison and Sarcevic are fit, Fleetwood nothing to play for and Walsall and Notts County have two difficult games

Notts v Donny feels the most likely in League 2.

Sky Sports have confirmed their main channel selections for the final day of the 2024/25 EFL regular season on Saturday, May 3.

With plenty still to play for, there will be three live games across Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, with every other game being streamed live on Sky Sports+ for viewers in the UK.

Coventry City's mammoth clash against Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event, with both sides chasing one of two final Play-Off berths.

At the other end of the table, Luton Town head to West Bromwich Albion knowing victory will secure another season in the division. That game will be available to watch on Sky Sports Football.

At 3 pm, attention turns to Sky Bet League One as Leyton Orient head to Huddersfield Town live on Sky Sports Football. The O's need just three points to guarantee a place in the Play Offs.

A play off spot over a title or promotion. Sky picks all over.

I'm feeling very bullish about our chances.

I really do think we'll overwhelm Fleetwood, and I'm not disrespecting them because they've been on decent enough form, and before the last couple of away games they'd been rattling them in for fun.

But if this mattered in any way for Fleetwood, I'd be calling this an absolute frigging nightmare match up for them, I think we'll steamroll them to be honest.

A draw will probably do as that eliminates Notts County and Walsall aren't going to beat Crewe, but I don't think we'll leave it to chance this time. Like 3 or 4 nil for me.
