    If we get the job done next Saturday, which I believe we will, for me it will feel more like relief rather than a big party after years of utter dross in this league

    A bit of both for me. One thing I will say though is whilst we all have ambitions to see us as a competitive Championship club, if we do go up next week, the club need to ensure that we NEVER end up in this horrendous league again.

    In my younger years, I'd define this as a long week ahead. Now in my 50s I see the world significantly different.

    Today football is a game, pastime, a social event. Do I want promotion, damn yes. Do I feel let down by Rupp, damn yes.

    Next Saturday I will be looking for the same as all board members but not the detrimental effect on myself because ultimately it's a small part of my world.
