    Unbelievable support and surely a great advertisement to attract people wanting to buy a football club. Add to that the probability of having over 15.000 season ticket holders next season paying nearer to normal prices suggest a club with great potential especially coming after years of playing basement football.

    I think two of the last 4 gates of over 20 thousand have nearly or paid full price of a ticket?

    Not owning the stadium and the rent that goes with that, holds us back in so many ways
    Undoubtedly we have great potential for the right owners

    Three years max
    I believe it automatically renews unless we choose to move out, which is not going to happen anytime soon and the pension fund would need a bloody good offer to slaughter the goose that lays the golden eggs

    As per usual I will ask the obvious question if we don’t where are we going. Can not see them offering a year by year option. Will be long term or no term

    Given the height above sea level it gets bonus points! It would be the highest league ground in England (just below the snow line) if a team was mad enough to play there.

    Current highest ground in Premier/Football League is the Hawthorns (West Bromwich Albion) at 168 metres above sea level.

    Odsal is 169 metres above sea level.

    That's still some way below National League North Buxton's Silverlands ground which, at 310 metres above sea level, is the highest football ground in England.

    All the above pale into insignificance when compared to the highest football ground in the world, the Estadio Hernando Siles in Bolivia, which is 3,637 metres above sea level.

    I believe Blundell Park is actually 0.6 metres above sea level (the websites that show it as 2 metres are mixing their metres and feet up).

    And yes, whilst there is no official list of coldest grounds, we all know it's Boundary Park.
