Did the 2 blocks central lower Dallas ever go on sale
I didn’t see them so might have gone to the community tickets after all
You would think though that it’s the Midland road stand where they are trying to free up seats,as before
The club obviously needs permission from Fleetwood before they bother approaching the authorities. Which they now obviously have.
As other have said, can’t see Fleetwood wanting more than the 600+in one block

True not arguing with that but pitch access/ exit is safest. Just like all the fire risk assessments I did on stations . One would NEVER advocate exiting stations through stairs , and the building etc … It would be evacuate to the nearest safe route / point . In multiple instances that would be the platform ends .

The same equivalence as the pitch. Clearly as the fire tragedy demonstrated way back in 85 . There’s the proof. Oddly the disaster is still used to this day on Fire Courses. Sad but true.

yep. But that doesn’t change the fact that it would fail to w safety test if the segregation sheet was put on the last three seats of the row as technically it would be forcing people to go the other way along the row.

Remember risk assessments are a personal opinion , nothing else. Qualified to do them however is a legal necessity under H&S legislation . I can debate the issue all day long as I WAS legally qualified . Just forget aisle access for a minute which is a red herring because people could move up or down seat levels in any case in an emergency ….. So one simple question , which is quicker and safer … going straight onto the grass or walking up staircases , on to landings and down more staircases to street level?
Any judge in the land would say and support straight onto the grass in the event of fire or similar emergency . I defended one of my risk assessments in the Supreme Court and in the process saved my company and its insurers from a £4m claim .

An emotive passionate subject for me as one can imagine, especially as I was unfortunately there in the paddock in 85 . Jump over the stand wall then paddock pitch side wall onto the grass or escape via the back of the stand ? The latter route killed many poor souls.

I think the point is, to be able to go up or down you would need to travel 28 seats across to the nearest steps to facilitate going up or down

You are totally missing the point of how do you get to the pitch unless you are suggesting climbing over the seats in front then you are going to have to go along the row

So once you have traversed 28 seats which is the quickest way to safety ? On the grass or through concourses and up and down stairs? .
In an emergency you take the quickest route possible . People taking the longest route are placing themselves in danger … Sometimes straight down over seating is faster than queuing along 14 seats . A large sized person has collapsed in seat 12 blocking any access to the aisle….Then what.?
One goes round him/ her by navigating up or down , seeing as the grass is nearer then down over the seats is quicker to avoid the fallen person . It’s not a precise science but the fastest route wins every time . Navigating what is possibly a smoke / fume stairway is not a smart idea?

I have a history of rocking up to the 'big games', all the cup games during the run, Chelsea away, every Wembley visit... and hopefully I can get one at 5pm!

i wonder how many of the fair weather fans wanting a ticket are the ones who said they would not set foot in valley parade until we had new owners .
