Thet ran into the corner tried to get to the Donny fans who were goading them, police stopped it, little bit of pushing and shouting, all handbags really, i was sat right next to it.
Nothing really happened, nothing to get upset about.

It was quite amusing to watch

We’ve definitely not seen the same Pattison we did before his injury. He’s much better with Smallwood beside him and similar to the teams general performances and results, it’s another indication of how much we’ve missed Smallwood and not had anything close to a suitable replacement for him all season.

I think the incident led to a loss of concentration which led the Second goal.

I think he's got away with a lot of criticism since coming back because it's been focused on other players and he probably has some credit in the bank. Against Port Vale I thought he was very poor, against Swindon he gave the ball away a lot costing us a goal and nearly another 1 or 2, against Notts he didn't get on the ball and the same today and when he did his touch wasn't good.

How wonderful it will be to the memory of those who lost their lives 40 years ago, to gain promotion next week. It'll be such a bittersweet occasion for sure. Don't let us down lads. I imagine the atmosphere is going to be electric.

I have been wondering myself if fate has taken over here. Bradford City to win auto lg 1 at home on our special Memorial Day since that day 40 years ago.

One thing that is very clear - this squad has a very weak mentality. When the pressure is off we are great but as soon as there is an inclin of promotion, we fall to pieces (see last season and the X4 defeats).

We will probably beat Fleetwood (or even draw and Walsall dont win) and get promoted but its more about Walsalls piss poor form than our own achievements. If we end up in the play offs - forget it. Another season in L2.

Weve blown winning the league through daft decisions and throwing away leads and conceding late goals. L1 will be unforgiving if we arrive there so for me we need at least 7 or 8 players to compete.

I think the football gods have been laying automatic promotion on a plate for us for months but we keep pulling the tablecloth away.

Id have preferred a title challenge in all honesty, that would have been more fitting.

Of course I'm thankful we have been given a lifeline by a Walsall who seemingly can't get out of a death spiral.
Of late we've been poor ourselves. I'm afraid I haven't much confidence even against a Fleetwood who have little to play for. It's quite possible we play with a lot of nerves and Fleetwood play relaxed flowing football. This could be a very difficult game.

Imagine if we'd have been in a position to secure the title though.

It would have been a fitting tribute for sure , but I’d certainly take third best right now .

I'll be fuming if we get promoted. Players should be ashamed of themselves. Wish we could turn the clock back to the first half of this season.

Certainly a missed opportunity given where we were a few weeks ago, but we'd all have taken this at the start of the season and even more so after Notts Co away. If we do scramble over the line next week, much of the pain and stresses of the last few weeks will soon be forgotten and we can for once really look forward to the fixture lists coming out in June!!

Once again we'll never know what could have been, as poor as we were first half we still made a couple of chances then Baldwin for some reason sees a red mist and decides to call the referee something that got him a yellow then continues until the referee had little option than to give him a red, backed up by our manager.
We were certainly better second half we played more controlled football on the deck, how much that was down to Doncaster not wanting to get too involved and basically going through the motions I don't know, but to then get a life line to draw the game and no player looked confident in wanting to take the responsibility was just another twist and turn in our run in to the end of this.
I was confident going into yesterdays game but even with being in control most of the first half it was hardly a situation like Notts County away were they looked like they could score every time they attacked, so onto Fleetwood next Saturday, were at home where we have been force this season, we have our Captain back, full house, hopefully any players still feeling the illness will be fully fit, just the one concern with regards Shepheard who apparently didn't train all week and only lasted around four minutes when he did with a reoccurring groin problem, once again I thought Bryne was bullied for their first goal and would give serious thought about bringing Huntington in and possibly Johnson, it may be harsh but I don't trust Bryne in a must win game.
