Because when he was asked to do a job at Chesterfield last week he was dog shite

 

Sadly I think Jamie will not be offered a contract for next season.

It’s the natural ebb and flow of players at any club…..He’s no longer the player he was , but still could do a job for someone . It won’t be us.

 

No doubt he’ll join another club and play a blinder for them.. maybe Swindon ?

Its a shame because I still think he can do a job for us.

 

Walker the fall guy. Wont be here next term and Leigh will. Plus he has been shit in recent weeks. Time to depart and forget about him. And try and get a tune out of Leigh...

 

That’s how contract durations work! I wouldn’t give Jamie Walker a two year deal even if you paid it . Comparing him with a player whose contract hasn’t expired is a tad simplistic ….

 

Like yesterday?

 

I was pointing out why Leigh was chosen ahead of him yesterday - its simplistic to parrot exactly what I have just said and not even realise.

 

You can’t bring a player on if he’s not NAMED in the squad . It’s that simplistic. Contracts are irrelevant despite you wanting to make it some how relevant . He knows he’s to find another club , he’s not that stupid!

 

Unfortunately Jamie’s time with us is up
In reality he has offered very little this season
I am not sure how much he has engaged,
After we forced the 1 year extension after he turned down the 2 year contract offer
On his day a good player and he has been a good servant to the club
But time to move on and I wish him well

 

He's had from memory 5 real good performances this season.
Also had his standard injury issues .
We need more unfortunately.
