How are we Fifth in the form table

 

That table goes back to the Walsall home game which was at the start of a period where after that game we won 8 out of 10 with 1 draw so 25 of the 34 points came in the first 10

 

last 20 games

 

We simply have to go up. Just noticed that Hull City are 3rd bottom. If they don’t win at Pompey, down they come. It’ll be like the good old days!

 

And Derby could go down as well.

 

As I posted a few weeks ago, if we do go up, and those come down, there’s some huge ex prem clubs to play. Luton, Derby, Hull, Plymouth, Stoke, Cardiff. Luton is the mad one..(hatters joke) considering where they were last season.

 

Hull away back in the day was like battle of the little big horn !

 

I'm not counting my chickens just yet having seen who is the manager of Fleetwood.
Pete Wild will set up his team to frustrate us he always does.
It's simple we will have to break them down if they park the bus easier said than done.

Well one thing for certain is that weare in for one of a attmosphere next week.

 

Any news on whether shepherd will be back for next week. If not my back 3 wud be huntington critch and Johnson. As somebody else mentioned we need leaders next week and the defence for me as being lacking leaders as late. Hope huntington got enough in his locker to get us over the line

 

Pulled up in training yesterday after 10 mins. Unlikely to play again this season.

 

Alexander said his groin has flared up again but will judge him next week. Must be a major doubt. I would just play Huntington in the middle next week.

 

The fact that it's still in our hands is a God send. This team with 2 wins in 10 really don't deserve a thing, but thankfully Walsall are awful.

We might well get promoted by being the best of the crap, rather than actually stamping it in weeks ago like we should have done.

Plenty to enjoy locally if we make it next week.

 

Add to that Barnsley, Rotherham Bolton, Wigan - Mansfield and possibly Stockport there could be some bumper home crowds. Sparkes must praying for promotion and the the potential extra income it will bring in

 

Imagine our squad coming up against them. We’d be absolutely murdered. Need some heavy investment this summer if we do get promoted.

 

I suspect the club already know that , as do Donny , Vale etc who let’s face it arnt that much better than us after watching some of their shockers recently.
