We have our talisman captain back next week and Walsall are worse than us what could possibly go wrong? It's a city thing how many times have we been here before.

No I've not. I've reminded people that McArdle wasn't perfect and we need to stop the ridiculous rose tinted glasses we have about that 12/13 team that remember were so great they got no more points than we did last season.

    Perspective is everything.

I'd imagine the 2nd choice is Kavanagh as he seems like the type of player who'd want to take one and he was 8/11 from what I can see at Boro in the U21s/18s

I've been saying that for a month
Think he's quite happy jogging about in league 2.

I’m glad you arnt challenging my facts;). The stats say we are a better team defensively without the player we “cast off”. The sarcasm certainly went above my head!

Had Alexander not made ridiculous substitutions in the last 2 games we would already be up!

If I was Walsall’s chairman I would be sacking their manager tonight!

GA you are one lucky man!

On another difficult day, you want cheering up ?

The Walsall forum …….. Crikey .
    Booed off
Arguments between players and fans at the end .
Manager reported to have got in a cab and left his car in the car park. ( A number of sources )

17 points ahead of us at one stage …So cheer up peeps we arnt that bad?

You know what scares me… Crewe “ introducing “ lots of kids next week?

We were poor first half very little football just long high balls to Kavanagh for some reason, Doncaster always looked they would be the first to sore but again IMO our defenders got bullied for their goal, goodness only knows why Baldwin wanted to mouth off to the referee who wasn't the best but certainly not the worst we've seen got himself sent off (this video shows him giving the referee grief and for some reason Gibson got involved applauding the referee after showing Baldwin red) we were actually the better team second half.
We created a couple of half chances and then a good ball put Lapslie through he held Maxwell off but got dragged down inside the box, a bit of who's going to take the penalty eventually Wright took it the keeper guessed the right way and made a descent save but it wasn't a great penalty from Tyrek, they went straight up the other end and killed the game with you know who scoring.

That’s what they’ve wanted for several weeks now . He signed a three and a half year contract in Jan 2025 . They couldn’t afford to , could they?

Thanks Bronco, can only think Baldwin felt he was getting some rough treatment during the first half, it doesn’t excuse him, penalty was a good take apart from being a good height for the keeper. From the highlights it seems like fine margins (again)

It wasn’t the rough treatment , it was the constant being pulled up for a foul all the time . I said during the game Cook never gets the same protection as that kid did ?.

I think Leigh would have taken the pen, if he hadn’t been playing shit for 5 months and been on a goal drought

my choices would of been Mellon, or Pattison, who should’ve taken control of the situation, seeing as he’s the captain

I think everybody knew the outcome when Wright took the ball off Lapsile

that being said, I respect that he had the balls to step up in a high pressure situation and take a crucial spot kick. It says more about the rest of the team though who all backed out of it

I thought overall the lad caused us a few problems today, we were very lucky with the shot that Walker somehow kept out and Halliday cleared , but it was funny when Jordan came to take a corner and for some reason there was a break in play the City fans started giving him some grief with regards his dad who posts on I assume Face Book he replies to posters who have a go at his lad, Jordan was laughing when they started chanting "your farther is a w****r" nodding his head in approval.

I think the free kick Rovers got just outside our area from a Baldwin challenge he seemed angry about, I could be wrong.

100% Pattison as captain should have taken that and just smashed it down the middle.

I like him as a player but I'm disappointed he didn't step up in that kind of moment, especially as skipper.
