Not soft for me , where was Halliday in trouble?

 

Of course we were.

 

Petulant little stamp on their player first half. Whole stand were chanting 'off'. Ref was blindside of the incident and fortunately didn't see it. Halliday went down feigning injury to disguise what he'd done. He knew he needed to take evasive action to avoid trouble.

The pen was one that we'd be livid about if it had gone against us.

 

I think he was agitated that Street was winning all the free kicks but that happens. Street was "old man-ing" him, holding his shirt to fall over etc. What it needed was Byrne and Crichlow to pick him up a bit and then work out at half time how they, as a three, will play against him.

Byrne in particular frustrates me. He just isn't communicative at the back. He isn't the "league winning defender with experience" that we were told he was at the start of the season.

 

This actually feels worse than relegation in 2019. Don’t fancy Walsall to lose today and they’ve got better GD. You’d have to be insane to fancy us in the playoffs with the mentality issues we evidently have.

 

Nah, it was definitely a penalty, their defender was really clumsy and bundled into Lapslie.

 

Byrne looks like one of them players where football is a job, not a passion. He couldn't care about anything

 

Did he , or was Street well protected? We have all seen Cookie getting nothing from refereees yet this lad was gold dust?,.

The sending off …he was just a dick ..simple!

 

The guy got there well before Halliday and he broke his stride to tread on the guy's shin. Halliday panicked knowing what he'd done and went down like he'd collided and got hurt. Got back up again as soon as he knew ref hadn't seen it. His reaction told you everything.

 

I am strategic. I need to be in my job. Why can myself and most people spot stuff. And our management can’t. They are pro managers. Maybe stuff going on we don’t know? Dunno I called this 6 games at least ago.

The team is definitely not average, it's EASILY good enough in terms of quality, it's just these bumbling unprofessional low IQ nose bleeding quitters are finding every conceivable way to drop points when it matters most.

Red cards, suspensions, missed penalties, last minute goals conceded...

It's a farce. It would be hilarious if we weren't all invested. It's Fawlty Towers on a football pitch.

Looked like the defender lost his balance and fell into Lapsie. You could argue that's on him but I was surprised that he'd given it.

Agree totally. I'm going next week to honour all those we lost or were injured 40 years ago. The club and players are a distant second in my mind at this stage. So many players with character and bottle back then. 45 years of support here including that fateful day with my late and missed dad.

 

So have I mate
We fans deserve so much more than we have been given over the years
