GA goes on about the intensity in training, could it be that it is so intense that it does not leave enough in the tank to perform for 90+ mins on a matchday....?

 

Anyone know how many goals we have conceded in the last 5 minutes and injury time this season

 

6 conceded after 85 minutes- Bromley (h) 86, Walsall(a) 88, Colchester(a )99, Swindon(a)90 &95, Chesterfield(a) 92.

Didn't look at cup stats.

 

I thought that after a nights sleep I'd be a bit more calmer, but no, I'm still bloody well annoyed.
Not at the team but at GA who for me bottled it, just like Hughes at Carlisle.
For me, it is unforgivable to rip apart a team that was in full flow, playing some great football and were completely in charge only to replace those players with a mish mash attitude.
Neither do I buy this "illness" crap re Khela - the lad looked utterly bemused at being taken off, even sat on the bench for the rest of the game and went onto the pitch at the end.

Never been so peed off with a manager (Hughes excepted) Alexander has gone down a bloody load of pegs for me now.
Could he cope in League 1??

 

Doncaster know we are shaky so will go full tilt in the first 10 minutes to get the early goal. Mc Canns not a coward like Alexander.

 

I hate to say it but Khela joined in the celebration for Pattison’s goal, beaming smile etc. Didn’t look ill or drained then yet was taken off 5 mins later?

 

I'm not bothered about winning by two goals(although it would be nice) absolutely any win will do on Saturday, as someone else said can see Walsall finally getting back to winning ways v almost on the beach Accrington in the later kick off, if that happens and we fail to win we then go into that last game in 4th and relying on Vale or Walsall slipping up(and us having to win obviously)

 

Can you imagine the likes of Vinny Jones saying "I'm ill, please take me off" Nah, he'd be saying "f*** that, I'm staying on, if I puke, I puke but no way am I going off" Now, that's the right attitude.
Alexander is taking us for fools with his excuses.

Doncaster won’t be easy, but if the players can’t get up for a game like this, they might as well pack in and find another career
We are surely due some luck away from home
Any sickness bug should have cleared by Saturday, just need GA to give himself a kick up the arsenal
If he bottles this then he is no better and probably worse with the resources at his disposal, than any of the managers that have tried and failed to get us out of this division

 

I think they will be up for it, that is for sure. The question is will they have staying power??? They were playing beautifully yesterday. GA has to think he caused this chaos. Nearly half the team were replaced with those who couldn’t get a starting! I am trying to keep my anger in check. Let’s show McCann (one of my least favourite managers) he cannot shut us up by cutting the away tickets. If we win this he will never get that roar out of ears!

Well if he felt well enough to go out for a meal with his parents that's got to be a positive, as we all know when your not feeling well food is usually the last thing you want, 4 days to get himself sorted as he IS A MUST for Saturday.

 

Listening to Walkers post match interview the players know what's required and I would expect them to be bursting a gut to impress after our last two away games, Doncaster won't be looking forward to meeting us, they as us know a defeat could see them in a play off position.

 

Does anyone know what kind of illness has been going round the dressing room?

 

It's not the first 10 minutes I'm worried about .
Not sure about your "coward" comment if it's true McCann actually didn't want Doncaster to give us more than they were legally bound to by EFL rules.

 

Worst case scenario for them if they lose on Saturday is 3rd as Walsall would be on 77 if they win.

Yes I didn't word it correctly, I was thinking more losing to us then traveling to Notts County who are also chasing a play off place.
