They were rubbish chesterfield. That’s two defences we have bottled against. We should have keep playing. I hate watching us.

The only positive light I have in this, that’s got me in the “we’ve still got a chance” in contrast to the “we’re a bottle job of a football club” mindset is we may be shit at holding on to games, but Walsall are a lot worse

and the only way I see us clawing our way out now is them dropping points to Accrington on Saturday, because there is a more likely chance of seeing Andy Cook leading the line this Saturday than there is of us taking anything from the Doncaster Game

This “illness” excuse is becoming a bit of a joke..

Said similar to the wife. It's been a slog and not an enjoyable season at all, but this final stretch has been a joke to watch. Walsall being so terrible is working wonders for us, but this lot are a shambles.

There aren't many I want to see again in L1 or L2 of I'm honest.

The way Alexander plays it's impossible to press for 90 mins all the time , we simply tire , I hope kela was injured or it was a terrible decision, sacavachi was already knackered , to put critchlow in midfield was a joke he's not the most committed player anyway he's very laid back surely lapslie could at least run around with good energy

Kamikaze defending again. Khela sub was the catalyst for yet another implosion. He looked surprised when taken off. Khela and Patto had dominated the midfield till that point.

This absolutely IS worse than Swindon.

More regressive substitutions inviting pressure on our defence and a persistence in playing Byrne. We can't hide behind the played with 10 men for 70 minutes this time.

Would need to see the 2nd and 3rd goals again but as bad as our defending was, Walker needs to do better.

If games were only 90 minutes we would have been crowned champions by now......

Likewise. I thought Khela was looking very positive and still full of running and was surprised when he went off. GA has apparently said that Khela was feeling ill at HT which is why he was taken off. If that's the case why wasn't he replaced at HT? It's all very puzzling at this stage of the season. We continue to suffer from Smallwood's absence and rhere's another game to go without him.

The Smallwood sending off is coming to bite us back in the arse bigger than anyone expected

as city fans, we’re used to seeing the team bottle leads, but it’s typically a case of conceding 1. in the last two away games, we’ve conceded 8. Like I can’t put the fault all on one player, but of all the positions on the pitch, CDM is the one we don’t have an out an out replacement for. But hey, I guess Khela can play there…oh wait…he got taken off at HT for feck knows what reason

Somebody said the other day it’s going to be about who is less sh!t in these last few games.

Hopefully he’s right and the Walsall implosion keeps going.

Psychologically we must be absolutely shot at the moment

    Wow
Imagine what a fully fit Khela could do he ran the show for us first half
Sorry GA I don't believe a word of it
The lad looked surprised and disappointed to be taken off
Lapslie must be wondering what on earth he has to do when a centre half is preferred in midfield in front of him
Poor game management doesn't go anywhere near covering it

Weirdly due to ridiculous results at the top I actually feel we are closer to promotion than I did pre kick off. No way are Walsall winning both games. Rightly or wrongly, I'm taking the home game as a given against Fleetwood. That means with Wimbledon and Notts County failing to win today, we are close to the line. We're going up with a whimper.

I said words to that effect. If you saw the Walsall game today then we should feel very confident. I can see us being the lowest points total to ever get promoted.

GA said Khela was ill and Baldwin and Sars had to come off.

We are THROWING this away spectacularly!!

    Leading Swindon-Lost
    Leading Notts-draw
    Leading Chesterfield -Draw

We have gone from a rock solid defence to a sunday league standard.

Is this any coincidence to Smallwood not playing? In general I think he has shielded the back 3 magnificently this season and now we see what we look like as a team without him.

I get Jamie doesn’t want to push it so much, but he should be calling out what we as fans see with terrible subs and changes

I still refuse to sing GA’s name
If Andy Cook hadn’t got injured, we’d be in relegation fight
These last two away games only highlight how negative he really is
Title should be wrapped up long ago
