They did when you hear the Doncaster commentator saying along with Port Vale they have the best away record in the League.
Once again in our own hands, a win Thursday night will put pressure on the chasing pack.

 

Not really. We are 2nd because we deserve to be. In fairness a point at a play-off chaser isn't that bad - so don't see it here as Donny failing.

I just don't think, this season, in this league there are any easy games - I wouldn't be surprised if Carlisle beat Vale. Quite simply there are very few 'gimmies' - unless you're playing MK Dons.

I'd take a guess that the physicality of the league has taken it's toll on all teams, so that matches now end up a poor slugfest. Like tonights.

I think if Wimbledon beat Chesterfield on Friday, they may not have anything to play for which may work in our favour

 

Important to keep ahead of Donny as looking at Walsalls fixtures they’ve got an incredibly easy next 3 games Harrogate, Newport and Accrington. Despite they’re slump they’ll surely get 9 points against those 3.

 

Exactly , the same crossed my mind funnily enough . What do you think? They all seemed to be running in treacle ?

 

Just had a look - lowest ever is Lincoln in 97/98 with 75 points.

There are surprisingly a lot of season when 79 points was enough.

 

Be delighted , they were pretty poor tbh.

 

Not necessarily all three can play well at times

 

With resent form like Walsall have I'm not sure anything concerning Walsall could be classed as easy .

I'd expect them to beat Newport - but Harrogate and Accrington are not teams you want to playing having not won in ages.

Even though Harrogate are surely safe, they don't look like the type of team to not still give everything - particularly as a win definitely gives them another season in this division.

 

If you look at the form of the top six beyond Vale, barely anyone can string two wins together.

 

You still cannot predict one game where the top five are playing.

 

I would. Vale have hit winning form at the right time and their physicality will see them go unbeaten in the last 4 games.

 

I didn't watch it. Donny would have won if I had so thought it best not to.

 

You are always on form until you lose. I hoping Carlisle pull a fast one and take all three, in Hughes we trust lol

 

Nothing to shout home about , drab, pretty poor and uninspiring performance. At our BEST we should find them nothing to worry about.
