I voted for Smallwood Halliday

 

Richie Smallwood for me, followed by Aiden Baldwin as the next most consistent . Injuries have played a major role along with inconsistency of form . Sam Walker an ever present perhaps?.

 

Halliday, Smallwood, Walker.

 

I voted for Smallwood. A season is 46 games, and out of 42 to date, he has been the best player consistently. Halliday had a shocking few months at the start of the campaign and has been at fault for a few cheap goals IMO, then Sarcevic and Pattison etc haven't played enough to really take the crown. Sam Walker is probably close in second.

 

I think 'shocking' is a bit of a stretch. He was below par early season no doubt but he's more than made up for it. Smallwood was also getting slaughtered prior to the new year so I'm not sure it's quite been 42 games of consistent performances.

 

Fair point about Halliday, maybe shocking is a stretch. But I don't recall Smallwood getting the same levels of abuse this season as he did in previous terms, maybe still with the plebs on Facebook but on here and from fans worth giving time to, he has been praised a lot aside from freekicks

 

Undecided between Smallwood and Sam Walker.

 

Remember as well that he missed part of pre season due to being injured and at the start of the season, was being played out of position at LWB and RCB in some games. No wonder really that it took him a while to get going.

 

Smallwood way out in front for me. Followed by Baldwin Saturday proved how much we missed him

 

I voted Smallwood.

 

Sam walker for me.

 

Has to be Smallwood for me, given his consistent performances throughout the season. One rash decision on Saturday doesn't change that and it's actually testimony to his importance to the side that certain people are choosing to castigate him now with the 3 match suspension lying ahead.

 

It's Brad for me.

He did have a slower start than usual, but I think we're weighing him against how good he was last season/most of this - ie, really, really good.

Sam Walker is 2nd, maybe Smallwood 3rd.

 

Agree prior to our resent very good run very few were anywhere near putting constant performances in, without doubt once Smallwood had Sarcevic and Pattison by his side he's been the player most thought he would be when we signed him from Hull, unfortunately under Sparkie his talent was wasted by Sparkies set up, got to be Smallwood for me.

 

Smallwood got my vote but a special mention to Baldwin who has been great 95% of the season and Shephard who has been class more often than not.
