I really do hope the players get yesterday out of their system like NOW. Just looking at their body language when that OG went in shows how much it hurt.

I hope they use that to their advantage and it spurs them on to beat County or it will be the complete opposite. Which Bradford City will turn up on Thursday. Gulp.

You're both correct I forgot the game in hand they had, so Sharps out for the Salford City, Tranmere Rovers and Colchester United (which wont be easy) but back to face us, obviously we want to win the League maybe by the Doncaster game we'll know our destiny.

 

Because they were both very similar incidents, both players rolling about of the floor as if they had been pole axed, doing their best to influence the referee, it seems there's only you who's in denial that players play acting can influence the outcome of the decision the referee makes.

 

I've just said that a players reaction can influence the ref's decision. In the case of Smallwood's challenge that wasn't the case. The red was in the ref's hand as soon as he planted his studs into Glatzel's knee. He was genuinely hurt. You think Glatzel was play acting? The commentator even mentioned the visible mark left on him later in the game. Don't be ridiculous.

 

Eh? Have you seen Reeve's red card? How can you possibly come to that conclusion?

 

Like prone on the deck slapping one’s ankle on the grass or lying prone with the arm up in the air as if being shot! It’s seen weekly in the Prem and seconds later if ignored by the ref they are running about as if everything is normal.


If they are hurt they don’t move!

Now your trying to use commentators to try and strengthen your argument , I've said it was a stupid unnecessary tackle but yes I do think Glatzel was play acting as many players do week in week out, he was so badly injured he continued to play until the 76 minute, maybe his nick name is Lazarus, behave man.

Glatzel's reaction had absolutely nothing to do with the sending off. I can't take you seriously. You talk a lot of sense but when it comes to issues around decisions, you are completely bonkers just like a few others. Look at the challenge again and tell me what exactly you expected Glatzel to do in that situation. I'd like to see how you would react after you've had studs into your upper leg with a full body weight behind it. Just because he hasn't had his leg / ankle snapped you are saying he should bounce straight up. Even when the ref gave a red he didn't react. He didn't even turn round to see the outcome.

 

That's complete bollocks anyway. He is basically lying still. If he hadn't been hurt he'd be slapping the grass and waving his hand in the air. He rolls once away from the challenge and then just lies there clutching his leg. If you think he's not genuinely hurt there then watch the tackle again...and again...until you see sense.

 

So what? The commentator is making it up?

 

Stop trying to move the goal posts to try and make your point I've answered your question highlighted it in red so you cant miss it and yet you come back and start getting personal because your challenged, what has how I would react to a similar challenge got to do with the debate and I'm completely bonkers, I'll not reply again on this subject.

 

We’re done for the title for me, simply because of our away form. Two very difficult away games to come, I think Port Vale will slip up but we’d need to win an away game to take advantage. I’m hoping we will win both home games and I think that’ll be enough for top 3.

 

With Smallwood now suspended for the next 3 games he is now in no win situation with the fans. We do well without him and certain fans will say look we are better without him but if we drop out of the autos then he will get blamed for not being available.

 

Well I never knew slapping the grass and waving a hand in the air is a sign that a player isn't hurt. Bloody Cook having us all on for months, what is he like!!!
