    Amazing how quickly things change. 5 minutes ago I was thinking we'd be all but up by this time next. Now it looks less than likely. He's a huge loss. We now desperately need to somehow hang on.

    It's definitely not classed as violent conduct.

    It should only be 1 game. I initially panicked but forgot its only 1 unless violent conduct.

    It will go down as serious foul play rather than violent conduct as he was challenging for the ball but still the same 3 game ban

    No. Violent conduct refers to actions not involving a tackle such as hitting an opponent. Smallwood's will be classified as serious foul play since it involved a tackle. It will more than likely result in a three game ban.

    Heaven knows what Smallwood was thinking at the time.
