I took my kid to the Crewe game on Saturday and both loved it, so I'm going to buy tickets for the Fleetwood game. However there doesn't appear to be many tickets left for the family stand.

The bottom tier looks to be completely sold out bar the odd single seat dotted around (we'd rather sit there this time rather than up in the gods where we were for Crewe) and while there are seats in the upper tier, the choice isn't huge.

So I'm wondering if tickets are not available yet because the game is still over 3 weeks away or could these seats have already sold out because it's a potential title / promotion winning game? If it's the latter, I'd better get my skates on!

They will have sold out, there's not many seats in the main stand lower that are not season ticket holders so it doesn't take long for them to be sold out.

Ticketmaster seem to be having a server issue at the moment as all of their websites for clubs are down with a error 403 message. If you are looking to go and wanted to be low down I would book now as they will start to go quite fast if we get 1 or 2 wins in the next 2 plus it is last home game of the season so it is always busy.

They should open up the 500 seats at the front of the kop and A block in the main stand.

Thanks that makes sense. I thought what with it being the last home game and a bank holiday to boot, tickets would go quickly. I'll get this sorted tomorrow. Cheers!

I'd be doubtful they'll open the front few rows of the kop as the reason they are blocked off is for crowd control after we had a few incidents of pitch encroachment a few seasons ago so if we removed to covers so fans can sit there we'd be opening ourselves up to a big fine from the FA if something happened.

That's a shame it's a lot of seats going to waste.

Just purchased the last one available in C block lower kop for my lad but as usual no one will be sat next to me. Just like Saturday, got tickets in other rows for my lad and brother in law yet both were sat next to me in the empty seats. Loved to know where these people are every week,

The main stand lower tier is usually low on seats for most games even though on the day there always seems to be spares.

If you want lower tier seats not up in the gods then buy just opposite in the A block of the East (Midland Road) stand. It's a good view in there and there are a number of season next to each other as it stands. Screenshot_20250408_232138_Samsung Internet.jpg

With season tickets for children costing £19, I reckon there'll be loads of them that are bought and never/barely used. My mate bought a couple for his children and they've been to two matches all season because they're not interested.

We sit in block A of the Midland Road and really like our seats. I agree it is a good view. The leg room is much better than the main stand too. One thing to watch though is if your seats are lower down then on a sunny day sunglasses are required. We are right at the top so avoid that but the climb seems to get steeper every week!

You are simply not allowed to ask where these hundreds sometimes thousands of absentees are which leaves not just single seats empty but sometimes entire rows. They can’t all be working or on holiday.

And this situation is costing the club money because new fans who are interested can’t get a decent seat in the stadium.
I think it’s time for these £30 kids ST’s to end or at least have a policy of 3 strikes and out for non attendance.

Why is it costing the club money? Someone has paid for the seat. Not everyone is an uber fan. I don't want my club to police attendance in such a rigid fashion. Maybe someone is taken ill for a month and their season ticket is removed? A ridiculous suggestion. The children's tickets for the youngest are £19. I am glad they are as it allows my grandson to attend with me.

A few Tuesday night games last season there was no one else on my row or some of the seats in front.

3 strikes would be incredibly unfair as I'd imagine the majority miss at least 3 games. If we get to the point where we are having similar attendances to Colchester and Crewe games we can always open up the ticket exchange. Also removing £30 would put off some parents from buying a child a season ticket if it becomes too much for them. What we don't want to be doing is putting off young fans from attending.
My guess for why some get a child season ticket then don't use it is to have an extra season ticket in case we get a big game. If that is the case then one possible way to tackle this would be to say you can only get away tickets in the price band of the season ticket.

Problem is with that my lad now 13 mind but has been going city since he was 4 trains Tuesday nights and as we live over near Burnley we have no chance making many Tuesday games. The only way it could work is if you miss 3 games in row (which is what you may be implying) rather than missing 3 games in a season then fair enough I would agree it may need looking at.
