Lots of nerves out there . I didn’t feel it against Colchester, but I do today oddly. Crewe are Crewe and they do what they do well.. Lots of kids and lots of loanees, reasonably well coached not to lose?

Fantastic second half but missed the goal as I needed the toilet for the first time at a match in years, maybe a new tradition.

 

Better performance second half. Subs all has an impact, which is good to see.

Really need to sort our away form. Have to win at Swindon.

 

If we sort out the away form we can do it but given form and run in I have Vale as favourites. Great win today, under a lot of pressure and City produced.

 

Madness how chalk and cheese we play at home. Kav would have missed that. Super, controlled performance today.

I think it’ll be us, Donny and Vale top 3 now. We would all have to lose at least 2 and Notts and Wimbledon not slip up with just 5 to go. Frankly I’m not bothered where out of the 3 we finish.

 

What can I say it was hard to listen at times but we dig in like bantams do. Just great to be sitting on top let’s stay there. City fans take a bow the noise was tremendous. We couldn’t make it today my hubby is struggling to walk atm. Hopefully we will get there for the last match.

 

Ok, he conceded the penalty but I thought Baldwin was excellent today. And as for Tayo, 1st half he scared them to death when he ran at them. Massive turnaround for him following the Port Vale game. Pleased for Kavanagh too, great run and finish. Well done all. TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

That penalty save is absolutely massive.
They go in to HT at 1-1 it’s a completely different start to the second half.

Huge result that! Crewe got a decent grip of us in the first half as soon as we scored and thought we struggled to impose ourselves like we did against Colchester. Sam Walkers save for the penalty was simply colossal, no other word for it.

Better second half. Have to say I think we look more comfortable with Khela in the middle, which I said the same after Port Vale. As soon as he went in there, our shape looked better and his positioning and ability to put his foot on the ball helped manage the tempo.

Adaramola deserved player of the match, but Walker for the save, Smallwood and Baldwin were also good again today.

Massive MASSIVE kudos to Kavanagh for that finish. Bravo lad.

Need to keep owning our own destiny. Big next 5 games!

 

I’ve got it in my locker, couple of cups of coffee and I’ll be ready for the second half.

 

We've certainly played better this season, but that's a cracking win. Great finish from Kav, and what a save by Sam Walker!
