Memorial vandalised

There are some seriously sick people about, and I include the builder if true

 

OMG, that is awful. Damaging the memorial and the concrete if this is correct.

 

Surely they’ll be some CCTV? Catch the scum who did that.

 

Likewise we must have records of who the builders were?

 

Our lovely peace loving friendly locals no doubt.

Was at a local cemetery on Sunday the number of damaged graves is testament to that
Flowers and trinkets have also been stolen from the grave I visited
Hopefully CCTV will have picked up images and as for the original builder I have no words

 

40 years ago. Hopefully dead by now.

 

I don't think the marble memorial is that old. I think that dates back to the expansion of the main stand in the early 2000s.

i visit the memorial before every game and spend a moment
If this is true and they catch the pondlife that did it , the punishment should be to be locked in a room for the duration of our games for the next 5 years and made to watch the footage of the day.
failing that , give me 10 minutes in that room to re educate them

 

Lesson learned.

When it’s reinstated it should be faced with high security glass. Sledgehammer proof!

Fans from other sporting clubs often put scarves and messages there and as i said i visit every game and spend a brief moment and often like to just give a loving touch.
we should not have to screen it off, maybe the answer, is to lock the gate into the car park and gate the steps at the other end

Re educate is hard to define, but we all know what i meant

 

A glass facia a few mm in front of the marble , it’s not beyond the wit of man…. Used in banks , railway stations etc. A sledgehammer just bounces off!

 

Surely this isn't true? By this time of day, I can't imagine in today's day and age that nobody today would have walked passed a destroyed memorial and not taken a picture and put it online? Surely if true, it would be massive public knowledge by now and the club would have put some sort of statement out? Asking for local business help or something along those lines?

There's nomention of this anywhere else apart from this forum.

If true, a disgrace of the pure act of vandalism but the Leeds thing makes no sense, how could you plausibly observe this sketching.
