Must admit I am a fan but can’t imagine any song with frequent references to taking and/or dealing class A’s would make it onto our track list

 

What about guns out
With our injury list , the theme tune to casualty is more fitting

 

The issue with football home team anthems is they are traditional , sang for decades….Mighty difficult to “ introduce” ?

 

Magnificent 7.....say 11 by the Clash intro.......that will get em going superb. I even want to play ....

 

Our current "take me home" re-do is a bit naff, but it's better than that!

To me, walkout anthems should run until kick off, or the main fan interaction parts anyway. Ours is weird as the main chorus singing is done whilst the players are still clapping and doing some sprints. The fan engagement hook ends about a minute or maybe 90 seconds before the ball is actually kicked, kinda defeating the object of a "get the crowd up" moment.

 

I wouldn’t mind a change music but it is very difficult to introduce new material. Plus I am a firm believer in letting it come out of the kop. It has to be a great tune that all ages appreciate.
