Looking at the fixtures for us and the teams around ,I reckon 6 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats gets over the line, if the rest win ALL their remaining games.
That is doable!!

 

I think 4 wins , 2 draws would be enough
they cant all win all their remaining games, as some are 6 pointers, ie us versus Port vale, Notts county and Doncaster

 

At this stage it's a big task to close gaps like that. If say we need 5 wins from 10, those teams behind us now need 7 wins from 10 and that's a massive ask anytime of the season. And they are all on patchy form, to suddenly string 3 or 4 wins together for them will be a miracle in itself right now.

 

Saturday is massive, we need that win to maintain the gap, reduce the number of games left to play and boost morale going into a tricky home game against Colchester,with hopefully more of the walking wounded back in contention
Tranmere will be no pushover. We need to pack VP and roar the boys home

 

Looks like we'll have to do it without Bobby because according to Parker's article this morning, he's not ready to make a come back just yet. I hope Mellon is fit enough to start because I really don't want to see Leigh up front again this season.

 

I bet Bobby will be on the bench available for emergencies

 

Gutted to be missing this weekend, will be down south paying far too much for ale on a weekend away with the missus.

Saturday will be a close one I think, but I reckon we'll come out on top.

 

Time for Tyriek Wright to step up and play wide in the front 3 for me to cover the absence of Bobby.

Wright and Adaramola should be quite a tricky duo to contain on that left side for opposing defences

 

Wright on the left walker on the right with Mellon upfront would be the way I go pace down the left side and Halliday bombing down the right will give Tranmere huge problems but I would take a scrappy 1-0 win right now

 

Is it a special occasion? I do hope we win on Saturday all being well we will be there. It is our 56th wedding anniversary, child bride

 

Provided Wright doesn’t abandon his defensive work to support Adaramola this should be ok. Bobby gets through a lot of work up and down the pitch and I want to see the same from Wright if he plays that role.

 

Well done Mr & Mrs O....I'll have served 54 years this August, never a crossed word mind you that's easy when you don't speak to each other....

 

The worry for me with that is that he seemed to be holding back an awful lot when he came on last Saturday. If he isn't ready to fully commit to the cause and is still worrying about his nose then he could end up being more of a hinderence than a help.

 

Tell you what Ricky, as much as we’d love to see more “champagne” football, at this stage we’ll all probably settle for any crap if it gets us the necessary points. Hoping though that I get to see the better side this Saturday.
