They've badly missed Garrity, Stockley and Headley - all of which could be back for their last few matches. I think they're better than the brittle Notts County and inflexible Wimbledon, but we'll see.

 

The big lesson from today is that it’s far too early to focus on others. We need to keep our eye on doing our own job.

 

Which to be fair to GA, is what he keeps saying every single week.

 

Fans will naturally do that anyway.

Players will know what other teams are doing.
They will all have mates at most teams in the division.

The skill is just doing your own job.
I don’t think Walsall losing today had any impact on our result.
If they’d have won or lost it was still important for us to get 3 points to go top or keep the gap the same.

Absolutely right . Many of us would deem a point each at Bromley & Salford would keep us on track , yet we got six points . As many have said a nice cushion for days like these . Im not downhearted tbh, I think we , the fans , set ourselves up for the “ fail” somewhat knowing that top spot was for the taking today. The fact that we didn’t , yet it still remains a two point gap , is another bonus.

Been saying 82pts for a few weeks still think thats the magic number required

 

Certainly doable. We've picked up 22 from our last 10 and 21 from the 10 before that, but we'd need at least two of Bobby, Patto and Sarce back ASAP to stand a chance of getting anywhere near those numbers.

 

In my mind I’ve ruled out Pattison for a month, Sarcevic 2-3 weeks, however the unknown is Bobby.
We have gone from a knock under his foot , to a big hint dropped on here @derrickh100 who didn’t respond to my question , thats it’s “ more than a knock “ . So that sound ominous.?

 

We could have got a point yesterday, from a very poor performance.
The big mistake of the day, was down to Alexander, starting without a recognised striker
I would have started Kav or Mellon and swapped them at half time if needed and left Leigh to come on later.
One thing is for certain, Tommy Leigh's goals are not going to fire us to promotion.

The way I see it, any team down to Salford in 11th has a chance of finishing in the top 7. Potentially you could argue Fleetwood and Swindon may also be in with an outside chance in 12th and 13th respectively, especially Fleetwood who on paper at least, look to have one of the easiest run ins.

As for the top 11 - Donny, Crewe and Colchester each have to play 7 of the other top 11 teams in their run in.

Notts, Vale and Grimsby face 6 of the top 11.

Walsall, Bradford and Salford each play 5 of the top 11.

Wimbledon play 4 in the top 11 and Bromley with the least face 3.

Absolutely loads of potential for many twists and turns to come yet. Not sure if that fills me with optimism or fear!

 

He didn’t reply so what are we supposed to believe ? I don’t read Twitter , it’s ALL utter tripe . As you suggest it proves my point extremely well .

Sorry Kevin never saw your reply, my mistake, it’s Not for me to say what the medical problem is. But will say with rest and luck it’s hoped that Bobby will be okay for Tranmere Rovers.
