Walsall have gone as a side and fan base. They're there for the taking.

 

I've always said Jayden Luker is one of my favourites!

 

I mentioned that a while back. Frankly, us, Doncaster, Vale and perhaps Notts have simply got better squad depth.

It is good squad depth that gets you promotion. Last season Mansfield had their usual host of injuries and it didn't affect them. Stockport, similar.

I'd like Walsall to do it, because in fairness to them they played a brave attack v defence kind of footie in that first half, which yielded some bizzare big beatings but lot of wins. That bravery, should be rewarded. Unconvinced that it will though.

I'm with @banbrotam here that I would like to see them promoted for Thier first half of the season style. I also feel Walsall will need major additions to compete at L1 which may be an added advantage if we get promoted

 

Totally agree . The midweek hectic calendar is not to be concerned for now .

 

It breaks my heart to say this but when the camera showed the Walsall fans they look well and truly p1ssed off, reminds me of the season we won promotion when Exeter imploded, long may it continue.

 

I'm staying that way. Particularly as they still have to play Notts County, Port Vale and Wimbledon.

 

Given our last 25 years, I have no ‘hard luck’ feelings of sympathy for pretty much any other fan base.

He came off with cramp. That's a warning sign for potential injuries. Sarcevic started against Salford when he clearly shouldn't have, as he kept a slight strain to himself (as I'm sure all players do) but it doesn't surprise me that Alexander is been understandably cautious.

I also have no feelings about any other team at all and don’t care who else gets promoted.

Leagues are based on 46 games and that’s all.
If you are in the top 3 after that then you go up.

Pretty football isn’t rewarded.
Winning games is all that gets you points.

Sick of this league and the quicker we get out of it the better.
I’m not in the slightest bit bothered who the other 3 teams are.

 

LOL!! I was going to add that if we're going up, I'd be delighted if Donny, Vale and Notts all miss out

 

In our own hands now down to the lads to once again do the business at Gillingham, two very good results for us today CTID.
