Amazing. Even under Jagger and Parky we’ve never made VP such a fortress. And what’s even more impressive is that we’ve done it with so many first choice players out injured for significant periods.

 

Would love to see this run continue right through to May.
The 5 remaining home games are all winnable.
The home form since that awful period last March played 21, won 17, drawn 3, lost 1 54 points from 63 - 2.57 points per game

Stuart went a whole season at home without losing a game back in 2016/17 I think it was. We picked up loads of draws (12) then so I actually think we have will win more points at home this season than then simply because we keep winning even if we have seen a defeat.

 

Macca did well that season but what a frustrating season that was - just couldn't kill teams off at home. We should have finished in the top 2! We were really hard to beat, undefeated at home all season and finished 7pts off Bolton in 2nd. 20 wins, 19 draws and 7 losses.

 

Not losing is one thing of course, but single points at home are useless in the scheme of things.

 

One that stood out for me was the Bristol Rovers game at home Marshall and Clarke had both there flanks tied in untill for some daft reason when McCall decided to change it and hey presto 2 minutes later the equalised ..............to me that season wasa big opurtunity missed a bit more bravery and god knows where we would be now .........still with that useless khoint Rahic lording it we may have ended up in far worse posistion then where we found ourselves now

 

I think this thread would have more comments if it was 10 home losses on the bounce. Fact of life. Quick to criticise, slow to praise.
