Luke Williams has reportedly already been contacted by MK to make a return to their club after his recent sacking by Swansea. I dunno if he would go back to be honest, he might wait to see if a L1 job comes up but you never know. Ian Evatt also linked but he would be a huge change of style.

In other L2 jobs, Ryan Lowe is seemingly coming back to management with Tranmere.

 

Richards, Wright, Kelly, Crichlow, Pattison, Sarcevic are all doubts. Kelly back on the grass though and Pattison was illness so may feel better now.

Bobby and Mellon are carrying knocks but should be available.

 

Can go 1 of 2 ways though - that way or the Wrexham or Ipswich way. Birmingham are heading into the right direction too after a shaky start to life under foreign owners.

 

There might be a few like that come up soon to be honest. There will be a few clubs who have nothing to play for anymore, and know they want a new man in next season who will sack now to try hire early. The market has some names like Williams, Evatt, Lowe etc that a lot of L1&2 will fancy.

The last minute goal for Rotherham on Saturday sounds like it has given Evans a bit longer to survive there and Ferguson getting to Wembley has delayed his inevitable sacking. Lincoln another job opening thats sounding ropey, they were in the play offs slots up until Christmas and have dropped like a stone since. Those are 3 roles a lot of managers would take on.

 

Yes I remember it well MK Dons being held up as a club with a plan going forward that we should copy, that went well .

 

Found this on Twitter. Someones posted the latest Opta predictions for final placements. They are predicting that it will likely be Walsall and us as top 2, with a 4 way fight for the final spot between Donny, Notts, Wimbledon & Vale. With Crewe and Grimsby fighting it out for the final play off place.

 

Is this based on current form Jordan , whilst ignoring who the opponents each club will face in the remaining games?

The Opta super-computer simulates the remaining matches over 1000 times on the data given to predict the outcomes and then gives it's percentage chances from there.

They are about to be bought out by a rich American group, so I bet Lowe wouldn't mind it either to be fair. Our opponents tomorrow night Cheltenham are also in talks with an American investment group, the consortiums head was in attendance for their game on Saturday their local rag confirmed.

Hopefully before the end of March we can build a bit of a cushion of points before facing a difficult April.hopefully Sarcevic isn’t out long we need him and Pattison for as many fixtures as we can. However the punishing schedule is affecting opponents as well Salford were missing a few on saturday
