Best chances for supporters to attend matches away will be Port Vale and Swindon.
Both if needed can allocate 3000.
I've always had it in my head Swindon might be the autos clincher.

We are the best team in the league as proven over the past 25 games. We have nothing to worry about

I posted in General Football forum. Winkelman sold out to people with lots of money but no common sense or football knowledge. See also Gillingham and Carlisle.

Their fan arrogance just really riles.

From their forum 5 mins ago!

“Managers would obviously want to come here. They’ll get a load of money to spend, and there’s only so many jobs in football with lots of people wanting to be a manger. The idea we won’t be able to attract anyone is ludicrous imo as the owners are throwing shit tonnes of money around”

Just what happens when a club has no history, even the fans are plastic imports into the game!

Side note, I think is accurate.
MKD recruited at least 50% of the Crawley squad who got promoted last term and paid daft money for Crowley .

Can't really see anything wrong with that statement.

They're not going to struggle to attract a good L2 manager. Why would they?

It might put off a manager who would like a stable management structure that don't go through at least 4 managers in a season. It might get them a pay off but could damage a reputation permanently.

The money comment! It’s nothing to do with “ attracting “ a decent L2 manager it has to be the “right” manager . Remember they recruit to a “plan”. ( One going out of fashion at that) They will be on their 13th manager in just over 7 seasons, all well established decent managers . Just look what Lindsey did with Crawley with no money, look what GA has done since he left . The only one that played football to this so called “ plan” went to Carlisle and look what bundles of cash there did for him…. got him the sack.

It’s a madhouse and further proof money isn’t the issue .

I think the football manager merry go round is unique in employment terms
It’s just the same old names getting sacked for failure on a Monday and then appointed somewhere else doing exactly the same job the following Monday.
The same names as usual will be touted around for the MK job and their previous exploits with managers won’t stop some from applying.

Neil Harris for example was appointed on an 18 month contract at Cambridge
Lasted 2 months and went to Millwall.
Had 10 months at Millwall and then after 2 months out of work Cambridge took him back again without any concerns.

Failure doesn’t seem to be a massive stumbling block when a manager is appointed.

Neither did Winkleman if we were to be honest. He was a property developer who got involved with the original Wombles ( only because of his secret future plan) and moved it to MK as he was developing property in the “ New Town” .

Aye. A draw at both wouldnt have been a disaster but we would be 8pts off top now and probably about 5th.
