We've had many legends in our history, but taking into account the number of years that we've been in L2 where would you put GA if we manage to get promoted?

Pretty high up. He has a great win% probably better than Parkinson?. I Don't think we appreciate him enough.

We are the best we've been for seven years, at the moment. Get us out the division and he's on the way to being a legend - we don't get promoted very often....

If he gets us automatic promotion, he's the best since 98/99 season

    Feet on the ground.

The next game is the most important.

    Rinse and repeat.

There will be some results that hurt.

    But hopefully some that don't.

    It's a good question.

For me a legend is someone who has given their all to the club in the time they have been with us and achieved some form of success.

    Campbell
    McCall
    Hendrie

These names come to mind for me.

    Perhaps

    Wetherall
    Jones
    Wells
    Blake
    Mills

also are there. All leave great memories with me.

    Of managers we have had

    McFarland
    Cherry
    Jewell
    Parky

    are also up there.

If we go up Alexander will be very well regarded. He is up there with but not quite in the same league as Parky and Jewell.
If we go up as champions he qualifies as a legend.

For me the answer is NO.
Don’t get me wrong, if we go up his work will be appreciated but I still struggle with the March 2024 stuff where he genuinely seemed clueless. And if we take out the current run, then up until December it was no great shakes either.
Right now the team are really making it happen and long may it continue but legend is a stretch.

The current run more or less coincides with Cooks injury. If you want to ignore that run and change of formation then so be it. GA has adequately reacted and built a team that is hard to beat. Making history along the way.

If we win the title, he's up there.

Maybe not Parky level after his cup magic, but a title would be a massive, massive relief.

Not sure I’m ignoring it, just commenting on the record. That being said, it’s fantastic that he has reacted adequately etc but that only represents 2 months of his tenure. Sorry, not legendary for me.

It might not make Alexander legend status but I'd suggest having the best win ratio of almost 52% is better than any other previous Bradford City manager has to be recognised, although other managers win percentage may have been at a higher level.

That's a decent start from my era, although I started going in the Ces Podd, Joe Cook times.
I think if you have Wells in there you have to have Hanson too (you know who will be along shortly to disagree ).
I'm sort of 50/50 on Hendrie, probably because he went to Leeds. Unless you are meaning Luke in which case he's definitely in ;).

Legend status is a difficult one, back in the days we started watching Bradford City it wasn't unusual to see players playing their whole footballing career for one club usually their home Town/City club, so like yourself they became legends.
Some include the likes of Beags, Blake, Mills etc who got us to the Premiership, David (bronco) Layne will always be a legend to those who were lucky enough to see him set the record for goals scored in a single season for Bradford City 36 in season2961/62 but Andy Cook came close to doing it the other season.
For me without doubt Mr Bradford City Stuart McCall, Bobby Campbell what a character, Jacko Bradford lad done good, Dean Richards because although. we sold him on you only had to see what potential the lad had, plus many more.
Manager wise every manager who got us a promotion and Cup run, right up there IMO would be Trevor Cherry, Paul Jewell, Roy McFarland, Chris Kamara, Bobby Kennedy, Phil Parkinson and hopefully this season Graham Alexander will follow suit.

Yes a real difficult one as there are so many variables
