Lifting the ‘boycott’ and returning to VP

40 games and 79 points since the horrible 4 game slump last season , is more than a couple months good form.

You missed out the best bits, like the smell of dodgy burger stalls, thick cigarette smoke, the jostling at the turnstiles, trying to spot your mates on the terrace and squeezing through the crowd............ used to love night games.

loved the smell of pipe tobbaco, could not beat the smell of a bit of rough shag.

 

From a personal stance I have never advocated protests and boycotts because I think they do more harm than good but I suspect there are few people in the fanbase who protested out of pure sheep mentality and whom are now quiet and content with where we are.

 

I aint ever gonna pull anyone to bits for boyotting us .......ok while its going good but lets forget the powers that be have fooked us over for 7 years with bad mismanagement

 

Ironically, prior to the summer of madness, Richmond had the club profitable season after season.

 

Tell you what , in those days it was easy to spot one’s mates on all four sides of the ground from the old Kop as it was so empty !

playoffs 2016 2017 2023 missed buy a couple of points last season , the later 2 failures down to Hughes partly and right in there this season.
We have achieved nothing as yet, but not as black a picture as some would paint

 

The simple thing is if a fan wants to attend then he/she will. No persuasion from fellow fans or current form will change their mind.

 

Fit? Judging by the amount of posts in the 'Restaurant' thread, you should weigh in around 40 stone!

 

If we’d have had Sarcevic and Patto fit all season I have no doubt we’d be top of the table now.

 

Listen, we can all blow hot air about things and say we’re never going back until etc etc…..

But the only person suffering here is what seems to be quite loyal long serving fan who is missing out on an unbelievable turn of form that could lead to a long awaited successful season?

Is it fook we should have been up seasons ago and the reason we aint is down to wank leadership.

So in a nutshell i have continued to go but i aint gonna start pulling anyone up for not going .

 

It's not a decision I arrived at easily or quickly. I'm quite at peace with it, it's all good. And I'm delighted to see the recent run of form. I hope everyone in that dressing has the single aim of not just winning promotion, but winning the league title.

 

My guess is Rupp has spunked a few quid this season to get us promoted, thereby increasing or at least sustaining the value of and increasing the interest in his asset, Maybe he'll sell if and when we go up
