Not for me. The ball bounced up off his foot, but hey…It’s about time we got a call?

The speed and movement throughout the team is way ahead of anything I've witness, and that includes us before Christmas. Since then we've gone up through the gears, yes passing was sloppy at times but I'll forgive that because we are trying to be positive and on the front foot

Come on does anyone actuslly know the handball rules anymore including the officals ?????
Remember the good old days when the ball struck the hand it was a pen.
When officals flagged for offside before phases and all that bollocks where brought in ?????
And why do officals at this level continue to ķeep there flag down knowing for well that they are offside anyhow ???? Do these morons not realise that a VAR check is not incoming

Think it hit his hand whilst in a raised position, its a daft rule, but a rule nonetheless

Reminds me of Rochdale …1968 vintage. Fine bodied but oh so sparse .

GTFI what a win, I don’t care what anyone says about it only being Bromley, they’re a top half team in form and it’s a long away trip on a cold Tuesday night. Them sort of wins get you titles never mind anything else, what a last 10 minutes with what happened in Cheltenham as well.

When you can bring players like Patto and Walker off the bench though, then you should really be up there at this level. Win on Saturday and I’m confident we’ll go up tbh.

The change of style happened immediately after Cook was injured starting with the Grimsby game, that's more than just a coincidence. It's the same style we played against Wycombe in the Trophy last season. Knocking the ball long to Cook happened far too often with him in the team for it not to be the plan. The team also know they can play 5-10 yards higher up as we got the front 3 who can properly press from the front. It wasn't Cook's fault that we couldn't do it when he was in the team, it just that he's not that type of player and it's not his strength

It's an unpopular opinion but this was always on the cards without Cook. Yes I know Sarc and Pattison have hit form but the freedom we have going forward is in stark contrast to the 'feed Cook' mentality we have played with for the last few seasons.

Yes I think it would have been harsh, you have to feel for referees I thought the guy tonight tried to keep the game going, just shows you that referees interpret the laws of the game differently, Shepheard walks for the referee making the right call within the laws of the game with regards DOGSO, yet tonight most were of the opinion it was a hand ball and should have been a pen, who'd be a referee ?.

I get what your saying but Cooks goals regardless kept us in the hunt.Without his gosls and bear in mind for the majority of time the two scoring midfielders where either injured or out of form.

Whatever happens this season Andy Cook has helped massively to contribute take him out of that side for the first 4 months and we would be way off the pace

Im not going to enter a “we’re better with/out Cook” debate, however think you analyse what’s occurred since his injury very well and accurately.

What surprises me is some of stick Mellon has received who is, purely in my opinion, showing signs of a great mix of Cooks strengths combined with those which allow us to be a much more offensive, front footed outfit. Personally, I really like the look of him in the past 3 games.

That’s fair…A team effort , irrespective of the individual at any one time . They have all played their part so far Gaz . There will be nobody more than Cookie willing us on.

Closer to 1st now than we are to 7th. Who'd have thought that was even possible a few weeks ago?

Think it was handball and the Ref clearly saw it. Maybe he equalled it up fir the faulty offside he had to give for the goal which should have stood backing up his linesmans poor judgement
