Why the heck did Bobby get booked ?

 

Knew this was going to be tough they are very physical and very together. Probably harder than playing good footballing teams

 

Very good from City.

I'm fed up of us being in the positions of Salford or Grimsby, just outside the playoffs and listening to folk saying "if we win the game in hand" or "if we go on a good run". Brilliant stuff from the lads on the back of a long trip.

 

Another clean sheet. Good team performance. Great win. C’mon City!!!!!!

 

Not at our best but still levels above 90% of the teams in this division. Lacking the final ball at times but some our build up play is a joy to watch. Defensively just different gravy, very rarely look like conceding.
Never in doubt.

 

Like who? That we dominated. No real stand outs agreed but solid 6 and 7's across the side.

 

Great ball from Walker and fantastic finish from Bobby. Well done the lads

I was pleased to see Richard back but once Adaramola came on he played well no worries at LWB .

 

Bang on it was battle that we would have lost over the last few years we stood up to them another side to our game that is now emerging ...........no soft as shit side anymore

As for folk moaning about us not being at our best who gives a shit we won and even if it wasnt our best we could have easily won by more ...........should that not be a positive

 

Aside from the handball ?? We got away with one. Still a lot of rough edges, but I like him.

 

Let's get on with hunting Walsall down now.

Now 2nd in the table 7 points off top. Can we get there? I think we can.

 

Bromley looked awful. We could not drop points tonight and thankfully we didn’t. Looked like Sarcevic goal was on so justice served by Bobby Pointon

 

After last saturdays referee I thought the ref tonight did well. Tried to let the game flow.

 

Being a bit negative, towards the latter stages of the first half I thought it had 1-0 Bromley or at best a 0-0 written all over it, but, no, we are different gravy now, that was a tough game against a side who've won their last 3 in the league, great performance and ground it out, lets keep em all fit, and we'll do it

 

I think given a run Mellon will start getting goals.

 

Superb win that, am actually starting to believe this could finally be our year! We have such strength in depth within our squad. We could be five points clear in second before the rest kick off at three on satdi

 

Scrappy game, but as I said at half time we just needed that one bit of quality and Jamie and Bobby delivered!
It's this type of away win that gets teams promoted. Bring on Saturday!
