Just booked my Hawkwind ticket for May @SelbyFan.

After standing for three and a half hours on a hard concrete floor last night, quite looking forward to a sit down concert!

 

As if you'll be sitting down...

I’ve had fruit and muller light

 

Experimental electronic music mainly.

First band had empty gas canisters to use for percussion. Actually a pretty cool sound with a live drummer as well.

Good to see something different and what 'cool' people do these days!

We got tickets a while back for Sheffield town hall. I’m amazed Dave Brock can keep going, I think he’s around 83 now!

Last year, in Newcastle, Marcus said that “Whilst they can keep going they will!”

I’ve followed them for 56 years now.

 

The rumour this morning was that somebody had spotted a cloud and the temp was set to drop to 20°.

Let’s hope it’s just a rumour because that would definitely spoil my day.

Just passed the Humber bridge.

 

I wasn't expecting them to play again, but glad to get another chance to see them. Especially at The Bridgewater Hall, such a good venue to really appreciate music.
