I'll go with Morecambe and Tranmere who are having a disastrous run under Adkins, although the Tranmere chairman Mark Palios is still backing him, that's him out the door then.

Carlisle last 4: Vale (H), Accrington (A), Cheltenham (A) & Salford (H)

Morecambe last 4: Bromley (A), Salford (H), Chesterfield (A) & Harrogate (H)

Tranmere: Doncaster (H), Barrow (A), Crewe (H) & Newport (A)

Harrogate: Walsall (A), Fleetwood (H), Notts (H) & Morecambe (A)

Accrington: Salford (A), Carlisle (H), Walsall (A) & Chesterfield (H)

No team has an easy final run if the gaps is close by then. I'll say Morecambe for sure and probably Carlisle. Although Harrogate could easily be there too for me, their squad is terrible. Morecambe vs Harrogate on the last day could be huge.

The doom and gloom is set in at Carlisle, Morecambe have it in them and a mentality to pick up more wins under a seasoned campaigner like Adams and their fans haven't chucked in the towel like Carlisle ones have. Tranmere are unlikely to get out of the rut. Wildcard is Harrogate, probably saved by how bad the rest are.

Difficult to look beyond the current bottom two. But I really think Harrogate are in serious danger, and like a few others, I can see Hughes making it work at Carlisle.
And to please Silver, I think we might be safe but until mathematically certain, we still have to accept the possibility of relegation.

 

I suppose it’s fair to say they may have a massive input when they play our competitors in the top 10?

 

and surely it doesn't really matter unless you are really pedantic ?

Its not like we are discussing relegation from the prem and have more than a few links to those clubs one way or another.

 

It's discussing teams City will play / have played in the current season, and who will play teams around us at the top of the table.

 

Gonna plump for Morecambe and harrogate
