He has a point to be honest.
When I lived in my native Essex we were forever being told about all those hardy northerners who took snow in their stride while we soft southerners had a hissy fit and hid indoors at the first sign of a few flakes. Since moving to Bradford 44 years ago I’ve found bugger all difference between the north and south when it comes to wintry weather. I see just as many awful drivers in snow up here and things grind to a halt just as quickly when we get a thin covering of snow.

 

I think the biggest difference is the way snow is treated. If ice and snow is forecast, it's rare the main routes aren't gritted overnight, buses still run. most of the trains / tubes will run. The north still has a relatively poor public transport infrastructure, due to decades of under investment. Anyway a different thread

Wright really needs to take on their right back some times. If he's forever turning back inside (and onto his weaker foot for that matter) then it becomes so easy to defend against. He needs to get them guessing.
