Pretty much all of the rumours fall into the second category rather than the first.

So if there are things going on within the club that were not being aired by posters on here, do you believe the board would come out and say we tried things this way, it didn't work, we have learnt by our actions, and will not do it again.

A: Phil has a contract until 2018 and we are not interested in changing anything. The question is "why should we?" We have to start a relationship. I've seen the success he has had and see no reason for change.

You couldn't get a more clearer comment than those, and some suggest the fans are trying to destablise the club with their posts on here and in the past on C&B, I personally would be happier knowing everything at our club was up and above board, but if I believe they aren't I will question why.

Why would he walk away if nothing was changing as our owners told us, he would have had full control all football matter as he had under the past owners.
Walked away yet the clause in his and Steve Parkins contracts said the club they were going to would have to pay 300,000 pounds in compensation which was waivered by the new owners, if they wanted him to stay they would have demanded the 300,000 pounds compensation before allowing the move, which the new Bolton chairman Ken Anderson openly stated he would not do.

Why would the very people who said Phil Parkinson had a contract until 2018 now let him go on the cheap, virtually for free compared to the compensation package they could have demanded.

I told you why he walked away without compensation sadly from my point of view.
When Sheffield United approached him he was refused permission to talk to them but was to,d he would be freed if he wanted to go at the end of the season.
Now if he had liked what he had heard from the new owners he might have waved that he obviously didn’t.
The new owners being advised by Rhodes honoured that commitment.

 

Mason was pretty good on Twitter it’s a pity it’s no more. Come to think of it we have heard nothing from the club at all for ages. They probably feel to say nothing so anything they do say can be twisted to suit any argument

Maybe...just maybe..and bear with me here.... all these people that have an agenda... maybe it's an agenda that has the good of the club at heart, and that's why they are "spreading rumours" or "destabalising the club"

 

As I say I enjoy reading tweets from players and staff particularly Mason. The only reason I can think of why they should be banned is to stop quotes being misinterpreted and twisted

Maybe its not the best of places to work off the field at City at the moment. Only a suggestion mind....

 

How is spreading rumours having the club at heart?

Maybe they've decided to not reply to anything on Twitter as it is taken 15 different ways depending on how you currently feel about the club, chairmen or players.

If fans need help with something contact the club. If it's a ticket question contact the ticket office etc.

 

So under the old owners he had a verbal agreement that he could go if another job came up, the club is then bought by new owners to which they has a legal binding contract, the new owners say nothing will change "why should it" he's been given assurances by the owners he continues as before and under the same term of his contract, then he is told by Edin he wants more say on the day to day running of the football side, Phil Parkinson says that is not his job description as manager of Bradford City AFC so he does not accept those terms.
The jungle drums get going (as well as his agent) and Bolton say they are interested but they will not pay compensation, so Phil says he wants to leave and he had an agreement with the previous owners (who no longer have any say in what is basically a new club), yet the new owners say fine if you had that verbal agreement with the last owners we are happy to let you go to Bolton and we won't ask for the compensation that is written into your present contract, or are you saying after the Sheffield United situation Mark & Julian offered Phil a new contract worded as they had promised ?.
