That's why I thought Shepherd might start to get him and Crichlow used to playing with each other and add a bit more pace, I don't think Crichlow is particularly slow but at the same time I wouldn't call him particularly quick.

Well there we have it Alexander rested Pointon against a fellow promotion contender yet starts him tonight in this Mickey Mouse Cup game, I get that Alexander stands or falls by his actions but I find that particular decision baffling, and no I don't believe Pointon is the next Messiah but as a member of a team that was doing so well IMO Alexander should have played him.

 

All previous games have been shown so I'd expect this to be streamed tonight.

Have to agree. Don’t get me wrong it was a great one off game but it can be filed with others. When we beat Chelsea in the league, playing the best football I’ve ever seen from a City team it never gets a mention. I thought we’d be challenging for Europe after that game, safe to say I bought what Richmond was selling!

That said I’d rather some more modern games to be able to talk about.

So the referee gives all these non fouls for us and them. But when Kavanagh gets flattered and is a genuine foul, he gives nothing…
