Completely disagree. So what if the squad is huge. We can not have injuries problems derail our promotion push. It’s been a great transfer window!

This was our squad list after the summer transfer window and the u21 players, we've lost 3 from this list and brought in 6 that would need to be registered on the squad list so we've got 1 space if we wanted to use it. We could also de-register Cook from the squad for this season if we needed another space.

The interviewers questions are crap to be honest. We really need some decent questions, not the usual drivel. Players can only answer what’s put in front of them. Club has never really been good in this regard.

The actual stated goal was to reduce squad size.

Even if you personally prefer the big squad situation, that specific goal was not achieved.

As always, I think the club shouldn't have bothered whinging about the squad size in the first place because it took about 3 games of the new season to realize "Oh yeah, injuries happen..."

    lol

If they don’t play this over the PA when he scores I’ll be disappointed

We're far from the only club where this happens

To be fair, what are you actually gonna say?

Just like with football fans, you have a vague idea about club size and stuff, but I couldn't give you any real detail about most of them.

If a few clubs tried to sign you, and they were Burton Albion, Northampton Town and Bolton Wanderers, and you ultimately signed for Bolton, I'm pretty sure you'd acknowledge that they were the biggest club with the bigger fanbase and that was a draw? Ultimately they all play in the same division and you'd be an expert in none of them (I'm guessing, anyway).

I imagine the club may have looked at a striker but no point in bringing anyone in. Personally, do we need Khela? We have Jamie Walker still and a few others, unless they go to non-league. Could have saved a loan spot and brought in a another loan striker

If that is us truly done, then i feel its a big mistake not to have brought in another striker.
we are 3 lighter than the start of the month and our main man out until next year
Injury to kav or Mellon , what then.
we were not overly prolific before Cooks injury . we might just have had a purple patch over the last few weeks
Could finish up with lots of last Saturdays scorlines
    Bedtime me thinks

We have a striker in Melon who after nearly a month has had a few minutes game time. He likes to play Leigh up top and as we play only one striker he must think we have enough especially as Saturday excepted we have been free scoring lately. The transfer window as a whole has been very productive

I don’t disagree, but opening questions such as “What drew you to this club” are just poor.

They have had the whole transfer window to try and bring in a striker to provide cover for Cooke and now Oliver and Smith who have gone on loan. Unless they pull one out of the hat it is disappointing we have not being able to bring one in. We always have the option to play Wright there or recall Ibbotson should we get injuries to Kavanagh, Leigh and the Burnley lad Mellon .....oh dear.

Mellon was the striker we signed in this window.

Oliver was never in the equation to replace - he was a complete waste of a wage really.
