Thought Jordan Jones looked impressive against us, McGeouch seemed a bit of leader and Embleton has good pedigree. Armstrong, when fit can be decent at this level. I think they have enough to pick up some points + any additions today. Also seems that Stevie G is favourite for the job!

 

Who you get in is either gonna revive or scuttle you in my opinion.

I think you need a pragmatist. Don't think it matters so much about experience, you don't need a Sam Allardyce lol, but it must be a sensible bloke who understands the balance at this level and can work with good players (ie, more of a Leam Richardson than a Derek Adams).

Ha, ha as if Stevie G will come here, mind you its a red hot topic up here at the moment, but I just can't see it. I take it, its the link between Rob Clarkson (Sporting Director) and Gerrard at Rangers where they worked together.
Of the three you mentioned Dummet was injured in the first two minutes of his debut, and is unlikely to play again this season, Mc Geough is a decent player but can't string two games together without getting injured, and Embleton so far has been very disappointing.

 

They would be nuts going for a “ name” . Their forum wants RID of Embleton , Armstrong went last week , non impressed me and not one would get in our 11…..maybe I’m too fussy.

Good to get a keeper in, hopefully he could be another Lewis. People will laugh at that but his form first season helped get us into the playoffs, then sold second season for around £200k after costing nothing. You’d take that every time.

On Wrexham, their local is saying that multiple clubs had approaches for Ollie Palmer, but he's turned them down to stay. Mo Faal is apparently available for loan too. Did well for Walsall.
