I wouldn't be surprised if after that game Doyle realised that it might be time to call it a day playing unless Walker got suspended/injured before we could bring someone else in although I'm sure he will be gutted he's fallen 2 games short of 100 appearances for the club. He did well in the cup run last season but this might have been just 1 season too far.

In an ideal world we can get promotion secured before the last game of the season then we can either start him or bring him on as a late sub for 1 last appearance.

Yes I know all about him , less than 15 appearances? He was a money spinner for the club .

 

His career hasn’t kicked on at all. I’m not overly impressed with the signing but he should be adequate enough.

 

I like the Shrewsbury forum and their postivity regarding the Oliver signing. If we signed Oliver today without knowing him, our fans would have looked at his stats and thrown a fit that he doesn't have 300 goals in 100 games

Don't write us off just yet, we do actually have some decent players, it was Williams insistence of playing the 'possession based' game, which never suited us from minute one, and despite having a complete overhaul in the window it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference, which has made me think its more of a losing mentality attitude. So I'm kind of hoping whoever is the next fool to take on the job, can give some of them a good kick up the backside.
It will certainly make a change from 'The boys are really hurting', which we've had to suffer after every bloody game.

Decent players…………Who , not one impressed against us and we were well off it . I have read your forum today and not one mention of Teflon Abbott’s recruiting fingerprints all over your club . I just don’t get it? If anyone else mentions a data analyst has done all your recruiting (without scouting players in real time) I’ll scream. Scouting takes hours and hours of attending games all over the country yet 12 or so in 4 weeks?? Your owners , although well meaning, seem to be cluless and appallingly advised. A once decent club too.

Parker said that it doesn't look like we have anymore outgoings in the pipeline but things can change. It's going to be a long few months for Byrne, Walker and Oduor outside of the vertu games.
