If we get the Crichlow we had on loan, it’s a very decent signing. From an immediate stand point, it covers an important Kelly sized gap and long term believe he has the ability to play a league higher (if we are able to achieve our goals)…….only if he regains form.

Guess it also suggests GA favours Shepherd at CB rather than LCB?

 

I manage a football team and one of the girls said her friends dad used to play for Bradford. Piqued my interest, turns out her Dad is Jamie Walker. She probably meant plays not used to... But it did make me wonder.

 

Any thoughts on strikers who may come in but aren’t getting game time? Mullin obviously mentioned, Rhodes went to the stags, someone mentioned Clarke-Harris on twitter but very much doubt that

I notice Notts County have signed another forward from Scandinavia.

They signed Jatta from Viborg and he's been great, now Mai Traore comes in from Fredrikstad in Norway.

They've obviously got a scout or two in that region.

Richards shoulder was popped back in before he left the pitch at Wimbledon, the decision will now be get an operation or take the chance he does not pop it again.

 

As a body and an option I woulsnt be against this one. He was a top L1 striker just a little over 18 months ago. He has declined but as a short term option for L2 he may have something.

Better than nothing anyway.

I know some people thought he was nowhere near the standard, BUT, in his favour he was a really solid pro. Never looked out of shape, never looked uninterested, rarely got played the whole time he was here due primarily to Andy Cook's form.

Always came on and tried to do a job in a very limited amount of time.

Nothing against the guy at all, a good pro who did what was asked of him while having to sit out for large periods of time.

Good luck, lad, tough ask trying to keep Shrewsbury up, but hope you manage it.

Rather play him in League One than League Two.
