He’s not that great. Calm down. He had a very good loan spell but you make him sound like John Terry

Crichlow played 41 games for us and did very well, it wasn't just a few games like Pereira.

Crichlow will also provide cover at LWB in my opinion too.

Just this keeper and a striker now please and that would be us done. Doubt we are in the market for a striker though, whether Oliver leaves or not.

Agreed regarding striker, even if we were in for one, I can't see how the budget allows it without 2/3 leaving.

6ft-6” . I thought Walker was tall. Tall keepers seems to be the on thing these days?

Looks like they have too many over 21 players too. So someone who isn't the manager is going to have to submit a squad list to the EFL tomorrow and unless they can get some out the door today, there's a handful of players who will be paid to sit in the stands for the rest of the season.

What amazes me is Greg Abbott, who recruited all this lot and Williams remains in a job?

Have you forgotten we've been using both Byrne and Baldwin this year?

It's sour. They tried getting rid of Abbott when recruiting Williamson and were in talks with the MK HOR/DOF (whatever they call him). But he played both sides and the rumour is signed a new deal on nearly double the money to stay at MK. So Williamson went there with a squad not capable of playing his way, to have a HOR who has recruited naff and they dont want to work together from the start. It was never going to work. It's weird to give him the Jan window, bring in all these players to try play "his way" to sack him now?

They asked me but they couldn't compete with the likes of Allied Colloids.

I think most recent signings at Carlisle these days have been done by their Director of Football (Rob Clarkson) rather than Greg Abbott.

The Wright signing had Spark's name all over it, as a trying to get the fans back onside, I agree this is not like that and seems more to be a signing due to an injury at the weekend which has provided a need for a defender that wasn't there prior to Saturday. It makes sense to sign someone we know when we have been thrown into a position of requiring a centre back and I said as such.

What a weird way for the new owners to run a football club particularly after having spent a fistful of dollars in buying it.
