superb signing and well done Stefan for this time putting money where his mouth was - Leigh, Lapslie and now Crichlow on permanent deals and loans for Khela and Mellon on top. We’ve done well.

It was money, the reason why most footballers turn down two improved deals like Platt. His capabilities for good AND bad were irrelevant. He thought he was worth a lot more, the club and I thought he wasn’t anything other than average. Someone said Byrne was brought in to replace him, are we sure. I thought that’s what Baldwin was for?

Huntington has had a very good career. Baldwin played far more games , Shepherd also looks like he can go on.

It's a shame Lapslie cant play in it. I must admit, i don't see it in him yet from his cameos. He might need some starts to get going properly.

The Critchlow signing doesn't surprise me. It's a tried and tested method by our scouting system who go back to someone who might have had a few good games for us in the past. Dion Pereira, Tyreik Wright and now Critchlow.

Maybe it is slightly forced due to an injury on Saturday and we had to act quickly which makes sense. I'm not disapointed to see him arrive.

On Jordan Rhodes, sounds like from the Blackpool end it's Mansfield or Barnsley that are the offers being considered unless something has changed this morning. Oldham rumoured to have lobbed an offer his way too.

Like others, I'm not against the return of Critchlow. Seemed to have his best spell with us, so hopefully, he can be comfortable here and return to his best.

Agree. He played well for us, so we can hope he gets up to speed pdq. Bad luck that we lost two defenders at the e d of the window. We now need a good striker cherry on the cake. Then we will have had a good window.

 

If Critchlow has gone backwards he will be gone at the end of the season (unless the extra year is in his favour).
