More worryingly is the comment from GA about us not having a lot of money. So much for that extra investment if needed then....

 

He's hardly going to say we are loaded and have lots of money, that would just add on extra ££ to any fee or wage for a new player

 

He could be playing his cards close to his chest? I've taken the decision to ignore most of what GA says in the press to be honest, or at least not to read it at face value. The amount of times he's contradicted himself is unreal.

At least he is younger than Doyle, but if we were going down young and virtually untried, we have one in Zac Hadi already on the books.

 

Time get get Hadi out on loan and playing games then I'd say. Better him playing weekly at a certain level rather than just saving shots for 20 minutes on the pre-game warm ups.

 

Guessing it might mean Byrne is off more than anything? Or Kelly did more than tweak his hammy? Huntington was the one starting the moves from the back when he came on at the weekend. Ball playing was Crichlows more stronger point last time, i wonder if they are the central two? Crich can cover left but we shift Shep out there for now.

If Khela was brought in for LWB cover, i'd have thought he'd have played him there Saturday rather than forcing Wright to play LWB again when we all know it doesn't work.

As low a risk move as possible, provides cover for Kelly whilst he is out and gives us the chance to keep Shepherd in the middle. It's basically a trail for him to win a contract for next season and if it doesn't work out then I doubt it's cost us a lot.

Thankfully Peterborough didn't play him in any of the Trophy games so I would expect he will start tomorrow night.
