We lost it in the final third, usually Patto is our best player but missed a big chance and failed with the right ball at the right time on a couple of occasions. Fine margins against one of the better teams in the league.

Nothing to worry about it’s now about how we respond.

 

Defensively that game probably summed up a lot of our season, looked solid for most of the game but 1 defensive mistake and we concede a goal.

Far from the worst away performance and the result won't define our season but I just worry the poor away performances earlier in the season will cost us come the end of the season.

They have the top defence in the league one lapse of concentration cost us. We are still in a very good position but we need to pick up more points away from home

Two good league 2 teams going at it! Good game just a shame 1 lapse of concentration cost us a point, can see why they've conceded the least in the league .
Unfortunate but enjoyed the game.

Hopefully we get the win on Tuesday as this is one game I'd love to win.

Totally agree. For large parts of the game I think we were the better team. However kudos to Wimbledon, they were very organised and defensively very solid. They closed us down quickly and were often first to second balls etc - simply a team that do the basics well.

Always disappointing to lose, but no way am I downbeat about that result. No doubt, it was a poor goal to concede, but we did enough to get back in that game but just didn’t happen for us today.

I did think we looked a bit leggy at times, expected I suppose with the games played of late. Depending who stays I expect changes on Tuesday.

Would it be a big mistake if a rested Pointon has a blinder on Tuesday? You've no idea why he's not played, he may have a knock

 

Agree I was critical of Wright against Morecambe defensively but his attacking today was fine. just a shame we don't have a set piece specialist because Smallwood is not that man, but back to wining ways against Harrogate next Saturday.

 

Rubbish statement

 

Not our day today. I said the other day it was inevitable we were going to lose again at some point so it's now about bouncing back and making sure we get on another winning run rather than letting this result derail all the good work of the last few weeks.

I think today shows that we just don’t have enough quality overall if a couple or more are off it.
Thought Smallwood,Pattison and Sarcevic were well below where we need them to be.
With all 11 firing (Like Walsall) we can match and better any team in the division.

Today Pattison and Sarcevic missed decent chances and we just can’t afford to miss them agains a team who’ve only let in 9 goals in 13 games.

Thought on overall quality of chances we more than matched them.
They took their sitter,we didn’t take our couple of chances.

I'm now concerned about this stupid cup game on Tuesday, and GA's propensity to play over-strength sides for these closed doors friendlies.

Two injuries today after a mini-fixture pile up doesn't help, don't need any more.

Can't get DAB to hear Alexanders comments with regards Bobby, although I agree he was missed today with his probing passes I hope it is a case of resting him.

 

All teams lose. It happens. If you're going to lose, you just want to see your team compete, have a go, show some spirit and take positives from the performance.

No disgrace in that result at all. We've played worse and won.

Utter tosh. Fans have to stop thinking that Pointon is as vital to us as Maradonna was to Argentina in 1986.

It's simply nonsensical. Pointon often struggles against physical teams. No surprise, he's still developing - but please stop implying we're a one man team
