Digital Advertising at VP (Now with Poll)

It’s not just the Kop. I sit in C Block, lower Main Stand and it’s awful from there. I didn’t see the goal go in because of the glare. I’m sure it’s the same from the Midland Road side too. It’s basically everywhere.
It’s unbelievable that they’ve installed this thing without first testing whether it affects spectators’ view of the game.
Out of interest, who at the club did you email?

 

I emailed the club yesterday too. It will be disappointing if I don't even get a reply

 

Definitely the same in the Midland Road. We are at the back of A block.

 

On the club website under ‘Contact Us’ there’s a generic email address - hello@bradfordcityafc.com. But who knows who that goes to and whether anyone monitors it.

Does anyone have individual email addresses for specific people such as Sparks, the marketing director etc etc?

 

Perhaps @wetherbywhaler can spin his magic and have a word in the right ear? Just dampen down the brightness is all we are asking.

Genuine question which has always puzzled me- what business thinks it’s worthwhile paying for an ad on these billboards? I don’t think I can recall any of the businesses advertised on it, and I’m there to watch the football so I don’t really care about Joe Bloggs Business Solutions (same applies to the non-stop adverts on the scoreboard)- surely these don’t work??

 

I had an email exchange with Ryan Sparks about the play off first leg v Carlisle when all of us in the Midland Road were given the tickets left over after everyone else could chose their own.

Mod Comment: I've removed Ryan's email address from this post as, being a public forum, it will only lead to Ryan getting more spam and we all know what that could lead to. If anyone wants to pass on Ryan's email address, it's best to do it via a private message.

 

Good luck with getting a reply Crass, I'm still waiting after emailing both the club and Sparks.
No doubt they'll be in touch when they want our season ticket money.

Same here in E block. Struggled to see Patto's first goal against Walsall too. Just about saw Sarce's goal as it went in because he hit it high into the net

 

I've had a reply from the hello@ email address stating that it has been passed onto the relevant department who are looking into this issue before the next fixture

I sit in Midland rd stand. Not good on Saturday, blinded on Tuesday. Sent e- mail yesterday to the hello address, received an email back today saying my complaint had been passed on to relevant parties and that it is being reviewed prior to next home match.

 

Butterfield Signs! I always see that when we're taking a corner. Also Napoleons and Mama Mia stick out from memory - they must also have some hoardings behind the goal or main point of action.

 

The advertisement board is too bloody bright.

Thinking about it, I’m sure most people can work out what Ryan Sparks’ email address is, since they all end with @bradfordcityafc.com.
The more people that complain the better. Let’s bombard them with emails and really let them know what we think about being unable to properly watch the game that we’ve all paid good money to see.

 

It's going to be a tester for old Sparky boy as I imagine he has sold the advertising already!

 

That’s not at issue , the perceived brightness is the issue. Just needs winding down, they must be adjustable as is every LED screen .
