Digital Advertising at VP (Now with Poll)

I have been trying to find what the regulations are in England about the use and installation of perimeter electronic advertising boards but cannot find anything. Which leads me to question whether in fact there are any regulations about it, or whether the supply by the various companies has taken advantage of such a gap in the rules.
Does anyone know any different?

Maybe, but it would be good to understand what the rules are, if any, and if City are compliant.

With regards the new digital advertising again with us being so high its not a problem.

I'm with Smarty 50Gb of data, unlimited text and calls £8 a month and I'm more or less right in the middle of the main stand halfway line just above the press area and I don't have a problem with a signal, they piggy back s.

The boards were too bright when they turned pink.

I'd hope the club would ask the players if it was an issue last night. It certainly was for most around us where I sit in the kop.

Can't imagine either goalie being happy with it.

Ok. I tried the sunglasses and baseball cap. Didn't work. I've now got some welders' goggles on order for the next home game. Will let you all know if they work.

Funny thing is when I go to mainland Europe 02 works a treat and it's part of the contract. Very rarely if ever drops signal.

 

RCB said either keeper, which I agree with. Must be really off putting looking directly at those boards?

 

The ones at villa were fine and didn't lose the ball when it was on the floor. The ones at the entrances to the concourse were really cool too.

I think ours just need tweaking a bit.

 

It wouldn’t affect the keeper at the opposite end of the ground in their current configuration? If the ball is in his pen area his eyes wouldn’t be focused in the opposite penalty area is my way of thinking ? If they were added to by installing on Midland Rd and/ or the Main , then of course I agree.

 

They are really distracting. As others here have said, from the Kop you can't see what is happening in front of the Bradford end goal. Defeats the point of going to watch the game if you can't see the ball! Emailed the club, doubt I'll get a response.
