Digital Advertising at VP (Now with Poll)

I was with 02 since they moved from BT Cellnet all those years ago. Finally moved across to a network which uses EE and I've not had a problem anywhere really. No one in the UK should be using O2 if they need data, a truly awful network.

 

Even in the match report in the Yorkshire post, they describe the boards as too bright and gaudy,

Antiglare coating on my glasses did not work on that sign. Only one goal and could not see it.

One of the further issues I have, is the advertising with glasses on and some of it I can't read

There was one with a red background and I believe a phone number and none of our party of 5 could read it.

Just think back to last season, when we were all demanding action from the club about the football on offer.
They go and do something about it, at great expense by blinding everyone in the kop and we still are not happy.

 

Should only light them up when the opposition are attacking that end ......

 

With the pen on Saturday, they changed just as their player began his run up, quite distracting i would think
I wonder if he even though we were applauding him.

Again this is another example of poor relations between fans and club management.
They will be fully aware of the complaints since Saturday but have chosen to stay silent on the matter.
If they can’t dim the brightness or amend the colours then they should be removed completely.
It’s a spectator sport not a money making scheme from adverts

That’s exactly it, the floodlights at VP are barely bright enough to light the whole pitch yet we have something else brighter behind the goal. It’s a scientific fact that won’t work well.
I remember in days gone by at VP for night games they would turn all the lights out in the stands so the pitch was the brightest in view

 

It’s not just data. The phone signal is also terrible in many places. I live in Baildon and the O2 phone signal there is useless.
