The game was so dull after half an hour it's easy to forget how well we played up until the goal. We should've easily been 2 or 3 up and played plenty of good football up until that point.

Don't agree. Competitive between them but didn't struggle. Appreciate people see different aspects within a game.

 

I really dreaded this game as soon as we trounced Walsall...classic trap game and it wasn't pretty but the lads ground out a very valuable 3 points....they will have to be a good bit sharper against the wombles but we are in good form and I thing they are up for it....we seem to be winning games we would have lost or drawn in years past and that's what a good side does.

Agree Jon, as much as Kav and Leigh run about, we need an out and out striker up there, why isn't Mellon given some time.

Don't think he's far off to be honest. Pushing it a bit that we were there for the taking, that would suggest we were poor when we weren't but to be fair to him his assessment i kinda agree with, they matched us for large parts of the game, they just had nothing upfront. Seen a lot worse teams visit Valley Parade this season Ade.

 

Man for man I think they're the worst, but despite obviously lacking any real threat or quality, as a unit they're okay.

 

He can't be match fit is the reason I imagine. I thought he'd get some minutes tonight but maybe he's further behind than everyone thought.

 

If he isnt match fit he shouldnt be taking a place on the bench.

The alternative is he has looked absolutely dire in training but we have nobody else.

 

Don’t hugely disagree with his overall points, aside of us been “there for the taking”. Think we managed the game well without really getting out of 3rd gear.

He’s just a pretty irritating and uninspiring personality,

 

deluded derek was banned from the dug out .

 

He was making out Sarcevic elbowed him in the face which he completely didn't. They were running for the ball and Sarcevic put his left arm over his right shoulder as they were running forward as a kind of leverage to get in front of him. If he brushed his face at all I'd be surprised but the lad should be embarrassed when/if he watches it back. Blatant cheating.
