Lovely play from Kav there. Unusually good control! Great pass through to Sarcevic.

 

Superb challenge Kelly. Limited yes but proper unsung hero. Solid in a back 3.

 

Great to see us playing some football in the final third.

 

Famous last words probably, but how the hell are this lot runaway league leaders?

 

Saw enough in the first 10 minutes. They hassle and harry and pressure teams and score lots of goals. Their set pieces have been poor so far though.

 

Come on fella, wait until we're two goals ahead at least.

Controlled it but without truly threatening other than the goal, Walsall have been behind in some games and turned it round in the second so a long way to go, another before HT would be lovely….& deserved

Brilliant goal again. Fantastic work by Halliday there first.

We've done everything right so far.

 

Morals called it. Those two scorers running the game.

 

Not convinced by their keeper at all.

Need to keep shooting. That said, Kav really should have passed to Sarcevic there.

 

We've been outstanding in that half. Dangerous with the ball, pressing with coordination and intensity. Aggressive and commanding in our approach. And against a good side who've actually played well.

Something has clicked with this side over the last month. We need to ride this and keep building on it. No complacency or stepping off the gas 2nd half.

 

Terrific from City overall. Very impressive.

 

Imagine if we smash them 5/6-0 and cause them to go into meltdown and miss out promotion while we run away with the league…

 

Thought it would be an inch deep up there.

They started well but our good attacking passing and harassing them when they have the ball has really put us on top.

Great stuff. Well done, lads. Now start the second half the same way.

Back three superb, Pattison / Sarcevic pace and running from deep they can’t cope with.
