As Kev said yesterday, their average home gates are around 6k so 780 is actually not bad and is around 13% of their home attendance. In comparison, our gates at home average is 16,885 and 13% of that would be 2195. Obviously allocations differ from ground to ground but overall, we probably average a similar away percentage to them.

Come on, let's cheer on the lads tomorrow and make such noise that it will unsettle the Walsall team.

    Come on City.

It’s ticketing allocations that restrict our following away more than anything. How many times do we see on here anyone got a ticket….?

Even with the extra tickets, @Petrov@Petrov is correct as 13% is about right on average in terms of how many we do/would take away in comparison to our home crowd.

That being said, given Walsall's prominence in the league this season, I would have expected at least 1,000-1,200.

Averages are created by allocations yes ?
Donny we get more than the average others we don’t . I am aware how averages work .

Some of the big away followings we've had at VP and it's been quiet as a mouse. Weird contrast sometimes when you get a far smaller away following who are are really up for it and the atmosphere created it far better. Oldham always a noisy bunch but then the last couple of big away followings have been pretty disappointing.

Grimsby were quiet this time, we know why, Mansfield the time they banged us one were relatively quiet too. Carlilse not too bad for the wrong reasons maybe. Orient ditto.
Sunderland and Boro were always quite good.

We only took 1,200 to Walsall earlier this season which wasn't a sell out, when we played Crewe with a 12:30 kick off we only took 850.

They've had a few league attendances on Saturday this season of between 5000-5500, this season they are averaging 5,700 at home which is their highest since 2005. They're not a massively supported club so if they can get near to 1,000 that is a lot for them. These are their average attendance this century.

It will be interesting to see the team Walsall put out tomorrow. Donervon Daniels has apparently been ruled out for "eight to 10 weeks" with a calf injury. They also have Priestley Farquharson, Jack Earing, and George Hall missing with long term injuries.

Additionally Nathan Lowe who got 15 goals in 22 appearances for Walsall has returned to Stoke.

From what I can see they have signed two players, Nathan Asiimwe from Charlton, And Elicha Ahui from Drogheda United, who has immediately been loaned back to Drogheda!

So they have their injuries, and Daniels is their captain. Will this impact on their momentum?

Dunno if it's because i've been up since 6 trying to do bits at work, or its because i've spent 10 minutes in the garden freezing my giblets off telling the dog to hurry up and do his business..... but i have a feeling today is going to only get better and we will give these lot a good old kicking today! Think i'll change my predictor score, i think its going to be a clear 2 goal cushion today.

I’m really looking forward to this game.

We’ve had loads of shit teams come and end their poor form.
Let’s see just how good we are and end somebody else’s unbeaten run.

Very rarely i get remotely excited about what is usually woeful league 2 football but i'm looking forward to this. Two teams in excellent form with all to play for.

I prefer a midday-er to be honest. Feels like i can still get home and do something with the day. If i ever come to power in this country, changing all football kick offs to midday would be one of the tell-tale signs!
